Sule was a great host who was very helpful and communicative. The house was very well kitted out and the courtyard was a lovely place to sit in the sun. Great place to stay while visiting York - the walk along the river into town is beautiful.

We had a great stay in the house. We were 3 adults and 2 children under 4. Everthing in the house was as described and Dawn had set out the travel cot and highchairfor us. She had also generously left milk , tea and coffee etc plus a bottle of prosecco. Cafetiere good to see, as so many places have coffee machines. Kitchen well kitted out. We were plenty warm enough and we used the garden when it was warm. The house is situated in modern housing estate with quiet roads and good pavements ( excellent for small boys on bikes). We walked into York centre often and it took 20 +.mins with small people in tow. The house is a few minutes from the Railway Museum. I would point out that this house is on 3 floors and the stairs are on the steep side. Otherwise all access very easy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house.

Graeme has been an ordinary host. Everything was better than expected. He created a very cozy place, where we immediately felt at home. A great place for a stay in York. The home is created with lots of love to details and in walking distance (10min.) to downtown. We had a really good time here. Communication was very easy and helpful.

Lovely place to stay. Clean and well equipped. Easy walk into the city centre. Lisa provided lots of useful information prior to our stay and was easy to contact during the stay. Would definitely stay here again

An amazing beautiful house in a wonderful location! Stunning Victorian townhouse in a great location close to the centre and everything walkable. Lovely restaurants n your doorstep - would reccommend Valentino’s. The house has everything you need and if you have a little one, they literally have everything to keep them happy, books, playhouse, play kitchen, toys, literally everything. Great sized beds, beautiful lounge - me and my extended family had a great weekend. Hosts were really great, very helpful with lots of hints and tips for local places and places to visit. A perfect stay in York :-)

We had a fantastic stay at Paul’s Airbnb! Our family of four felt right at home — the space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Paul was incredibly responsive making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the area!

It is difficult to express how great the house and area was. Gaynor made us feel welcome and almost valued friends even though we actually only met her face to face on our last morning. Everything in the house worked and was geared to making our stay at the house enjoyable. The information about the city and places to visit was very comprehensive and useful to us as first time visitors to York. Thanks so much Gaynor.

Overall a lovely stay at Anna’s place for a long weekend to explore both the city and Yorkshire coast and moor. Neat and spacious. It was convenient for us to drive round and there a couple supermarkets nearby. Love how functional the kitchen is, however slightly let down by the pool table and a couple cues felt not looked after.

A fantastic location with parking but perfect if you are foot. Easy access from the station and into the city. The accommodation was as specified, nicely furnished and fully kitted out if you want to cook, iron etc. Overlooking the city walls but a quiet location nevertheless. We has a very happy stay.

The apartment is located right in the heart of the city. Out of the front door and you’re only a few minutes away from everything. The apartment is really beautiful, everything you need is at hand. Sam is a very responsive host and is on hand to help. The bed is extremely comfortable, fans are provided for hot weather and the main kitchen/living area has air con and velux windows. The bathroom is a lovely walk in wet room. The only things I’d say is bring a laptop if you want to watch Netflix etc as the TV doesn’t have any apps (I brought my laptop and plugged it in via HDMI). I’d highly recommend this apartment. I would happily come back and stay again. We didn’t want to leave.

The apartment was very clean, tidy, modern, cozy and very bright. In overall, it is a lovely place which made us feel very comfortable. It had everything we needed during our stay and everything was as described and shown in the photos. The area is very safe and quiet but also comfortable when it comes to getting to the railway station, which for us was perfect as we had many luggage and didn't need to pay a taxi. It is also close to the centre and can get there by walking. The building itself is also clean, safe, green and quiet. Mark and Donna were really obliging, they answered all our questions, helped us with everything and had everything sorted. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting York!

This spot was perfect for our adventure in York! There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and historical sites to check out in this area. Plus, an unbeatable view of The Shambles.

A lovely few days away with my 10 year old in a fun and quirky place full of character and thought. Great to be able to park on the street as York city centre parking is extortionate. Lots of fun touches in the accommodation. The weather was hot when we were there, so a fan of lighter sheets would have been a welcome addition.

We had a lovely two night stay in Clare's Penthouse apartment. The view was nice across the rooftops making everything light and airy. A perfect place to return to after a busy day exploring York. We came by train and the shortcut to the apartment was excellent. Thank you Clare for keeping in touch, being so flexible and for the lovely treats you left for us.

Carolyns place is perfect for a trip toYork. Within walking distance to everything, but tucked away just outside the busy city center. Clean and comfy. Id stay again.

A fantastic apartment just a short walk from the city centre. It was modern, clean and perfect for our girls weekend! Would defo recommend!

Great location for York city centre, took about 10-15 mins easy flat walk, lots of free on street parking so no car park to pay for, the accommodation was easy to check in and clean and tidy. Jonathan was a great host and kept us informed on what to do when checking in etc We only stayed a night but I would’ve happily stayed another night or two and the price was very reasonable all in all I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit this beautiful city.

Jackie’s spacious Airbnb was 5 star+. This was the best Airbnb we had stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jackie had thought of everything to make it feel like home. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. The kitchen had everything required to self cater. The basket of goodies was much appreciated. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows and crisp white linen. The large bathroom included a washing machine and a fabulous shower. Communication with Jackie was easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting York and it’s surrounds.

What a fabulous place to stay. Near the centre and near to the race course Pristinely clean. Beautiful decor. It’s just simply gorgeous. The communication beforehand was so good too. Will definitely book here again.

Paul’s flat is an excellent place to stay to explore the beautiful city of York. Great location, very comfortable and spotlessly clean! Really close to the station but quiet and easy to walk into the centre from there. Great communication with clear directions and recommendations for restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location for a stay in York 2min from the city walls and 5 from the Minster.

Brilliant apartment close to the city walls with everything you could want in easy walking distance. Despite being so near it was also peaceful and private, tucked away behind the hedge with its own private entrance. The apartment has been really well done and fits all amenities in beautifully without feeling cramped at all. We will definitely be back. We visited on a really hot weekend and the apartment remained cool throughout the day and night which was a huge bonus.

Amanda’s place is just lovely, very clean and comfortable. It’s very quiet and a great location; very walkable to the city centre so you can park up and forget the car or if coming by train walking distance from station. Can’t recommend it enough.
