Graeme has been an ordinary host. Everything was better than expected. He created a very cozy place, where we immediately felt at home. A great place for a stay in York. The home is created with lots of love to details and in walking distance (10min.) to downtown. We had a really good time here. Communication was very easy and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Mike's place. The house is in a great location on a quiet street with a nice walk into the city centre. The house was as desribed and very clean. Mike was a great host, providing lots of recommendations of things to do in the local area and very responsive to questions. I would definitely recommend it for a weekend trip to York.

Lovely stay in York very easy walking distance to the city centre. The host was really accommodating and we really appreciated the welcome hamper. The place was spotless and it was a pleasure to stay. Would definitely stay again if I was to return to York

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. An amazing beautiful house in a wonderful location! Stunning Victorian townhouse in a great location close to the centre and everything walkable. Lovely restaurants n your doorstep - would reccommend Valentino’s. The house has everything you need and if you have a little one, they literally have everything to keep them happy, books, playhouse, play kitchen, toys, literally everything. Great sized beds, beautiful lounge - me and my extended family had a great weekend. Hosts were really great, very helpful with lots of hints and tips for local places and places to visit. A perfect stay in York :-)

We had a wonderful stay and the house is very cosy. Lucy messaged several times to make sure we wanted for nothing. Of all the weekend getaways we’ve had, this was our favourite. Would highly recommend.

An amazing find! The house was so close to the city centre and, on a great little high street, it met all our needs! Allowing well-behaved dogs is really appreciated too. Sera was quick to reply to our communications, recommending great restaurants and coffee shops; the property exceeded our expectations and we would definitely book again the next time we’re in York. Overall a lovely stay at Anna’s place for a long weekend to explore both the city and Yorkshire coast and moor. Neat and spacious. It was convenient for us to drive round and there a couple supermarkets nearby. Love how functional the kitchen is, however slightly let down by the pool table and a couple cues felt not looked after.

Perfect little flat; lovely, clean, well presented, had everything you need and was so peaceful. An easy walk from the middle of the city and so an easy walk to plenty of restaurants. The car parking is a little tight for a large car but that really can't be helped and definitely wouldn't put me off coming back... which we absolutely will look at doing next time we visit York!

Lovely stay in York, being able to leave the car in a private spot during the day and walk to the town centre was definitely a bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple cooking and the bathroom was very clean. We didn’t get bothered by neighbours or outside noise during the night so that was perfect ! Gary gave very clear instructions and was quick to respond whenever I messaged him. Would definitely recommend !

Lovely one bed Airbnb in a quiet corner of a quiet mature housing estate on outskirts of York. 15 mins drive to Pond Farm swimming lakes which I would recommend to any who like swimming; bring a camping chair and drinks to relax between dunks. Bed is extremely comfy, slept well each night 😁 Valerie was easily available for any questions. Would definitely recommend. (Was in York for a course not for tourism so didn't go into York town).

Had a great time at Lyndies place. Jayne was fantastic meeting us and letting us into the property. Jayne was super helpful and very communicative all through our visit. She also did a linen change for us during our visit for different folks visiting

This is an excellent base if you are visiting York. Its a really comfortable and well equipped apartment with a lovely view from the balcony.

What can I say. This host goes above and beyond. I mentioned we were going to celebrate my wife’s birthday and there was banners, balloons and a cake when we got there with her favourite music playing also. These were lovely touches I have not seen before using Airbnb. Also Stocked drinks fridge, essentials in the fridge. Clear instructions on everything in the flat. Made it feel like. Home from home. We will definitely be coming back Thanks

Nicole apartment was 1st class,modern, large, bright, spotless and quite, we could not fault it. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Nicole left clear and easy to understand instructions for keys etc. The apartment was just 7/8 minutes from Shambles Market and the City tourist attractions we managed on foot. Plenty of food shops Waitrose etc. As well as plenty of eating places/restaurants nearby. We had a meal at a restaurant called "Ate O'clock" it was delicious, will definitely go there again. We look forward to booking Nicole apartment on our next visit to York

This is our second time staying in this lovely flat . It’s light , airy , modern and very clean -and we love the view over the Foss River . We also love how close it is to the city centre - we were able to walk in very quickly , it took about 10 minutes . Definitely recommend this little gem ! We will be back

What a fabulous place to stay. Near the centre and near to the race course Pristinely clean. Beautiful decor. It’s just simply gorgeous. The communication beforehand was so good too. Will definitely book here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s place! The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a washer and dryer. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to York city center (10 - 15 minutes), with Halal eateries and grocery stores conveniently nearby. Karen was an amazing host. She was incredibly helpful, offered great local recommendations, and even left us some complimentary snacks, which was a lovely touch. We truly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Karen’s place to anyone visiting York!

Great apartment in the heart of the city, we were able to leave our bags in the restaurant before check in to explore the city and the apartment was ready early!

We are two couples who have just stayed at Mark & Ali’s place and we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Mark is incredibly helpful, accommodating and very quick to respond to queries. The apartment was fantastic. It was spotlessly clean, and had absolutely everything we could have wanted, with the best welcome pack I’ve seen-thank you! The addition of fans in the very hot weather was much appreciated!The location is quiet but only minutes to walk into town. We honestly were so impressed with the apartment, and Mark’s attentiveness- nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this apartment , we would absolutely stay here again. First time using Airbnb & Clare's apartment was perfect it was spotlessly clean, exactly as described, great location we could walk to all the main tourist sites, it's right in the heart of the city brilliant for shopping, restaurants, attractions & everything we wanted from a whistle stop tour of York. Clare is very responsive & friendly an excellent host We loved it!!

Outstanding! For two travellers Eleanor's quiet haven in York is a gem. Location is ideal being easy walking to/from the hubbub of central York with an elegant setting in leafy quiet retreat after our busy days within the city walls. Furnished tastefully with a period feel, though modern in layout and fit out. Attention to detail with everything awaiting our stay was exceptional.

Brilliant apartment close to the city walls with everything you could want in easy walking distance. Despite being so near it was also peaceful and private, tucked away behind the hedge with its own private entrance. The apartment has been really well done and fits all amenities in beautifully without feeling cramped at all. We will definitely be back. We visited on a really hot weekend and the apartment remained cool throughout the day and night which was a huge bonus.
