If you want a day trip to famous attractions, you can drive to Geiranger, Via Ferrata & Loen Skylift, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Krakenes Lighthouse, Hakallegarden or the Alps. It's a great place for just relaxing, and enjoying the fabulous view, but also an excellent starting point for sightseeing, hiking, swimming or fishing in the fjord/river. Skiing and several other activities are easily available in the area, dependig on season. Excelent for couple and family(s) with kids. På denne plassen bur du i toppen av frukthagen på garden Påldtun. Her kan du nyte ei fin utsikt over fjord og fjell. Det er kort veg til brygga. Her kan du leige båt og sauna eller ta deg eit morgenbad. Du vil oppleve livet på bygda med beitande dyr og arbeid som foregår i sesongen. Herdalssetra, Jørnselet

Imagine waking up in a fairy tale in the midst of the world heritage, in a small wooden hut, a traditional cabin in Herdalssetra - a charming, living mountain farm. You can experience people and animals on the mountain farm, or put on your boots and backpack to explore unique paths with friends or family. When coming back you can sit in the heat from the wood stove, drink hot chocolate and read a good book in the silence of the evening.

Dette er plassen for å finne ro i Oppstryn. Lita, koselig hytte med plass til to personer. Open kjøkken/stue løsning med lenestoler og sittegruppe. Koseleg hytte ved hovudvegen, ei mil frå Folkestad i Volda kommune. Hytta ligg for seg sjølv og har naust, her kan ein fiske og bade. Hytta er enkel og har fire sengeplassar, i tillegg til stove og kjøken i eitt med enkel standard. Her er altan og ei garasje der det står både grill og solstolar ein kan nytte. Her er elles elektrisk oppvarming, men også ein vedomn og ved ein kan bruke.
