The house was amazing!! Very spacious with a large kitchen and entertaining area! Very peaceful estate, the kids loved roaming the estate. The central pool was great as we could always have eyes on the children. The host and house helper were very responsive and always available. All round Great experience.

Lovely location with a beautiful view over the local countryside. Gavin was very helpful when needed, the house was very clean and well appointed. We'd defiantly stay again.

What a fantastic and serene location for a weekend away from the city. Paula’s place is tastefully decorated and we loved nights sitting around the fireplace. Great braai area and facilities as well. What a gem find and truly special place !

The property is beautiful and is located in a beautiful surrounding. The house is clean and homely. Ideal for family. Check-in was easy and Gugu was flexible with the late checkout request. We really enjoyed our stay

we had some shortages of cutlery and crockery as well as shower gel and towels. but after a call to Wendy she fixed it immediately. great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Craig’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Craig was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. As we were on a road trip in vintage cars, it was especially thoughtful of him to check in when we were running late—his care and attention really stood out. The place itself was of a great standard—clean, cozy, and well-equipped for the cold winter. The housekeeping service was also top-notch: friendly, efficient, and always ensuring the space was neat. Fresh bedding and towels were always available and spotless. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re after a warm and well-looked-after spot on your travels!

Enjoyed the stay, the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and getting the option to swim and use the tennis court was a bonus. Place was clean, ideally served our purposes and we really enjoyed the complimentary items left by the host (coffee and rusks etc).

We had a great weekend escape from the city at the Rainbows End country Escape, in Karkloof. The accommodation is neat, clean, cosy and comfortable with a lovely fireplace and varanda overlooking a pasture where the local cows, sheep and ducks keep you entertained. Newly renovated, the accommodation was perfectly complimented by our attentive host, Kirsten. Downtime was spent giving the cows a good old scratch, walking through the property investigating the various dams and fishing in a recently stocked trout dam. The fishing was great considering the fish have never seen a fly! Also spent a considerable time staring at the stars at night, far far away from any noise or light pollution. Would highly recommend for couples and family's looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the City. Also ideally located close to the Benvie gardens, Old Mushroom Farm and Karkloof Market. We will be going back soon!!

Jemma was very friendly and responsive. We had an easy check in process. Best of all was the location - close to central Hilton and close to St Annes where our daughter was playing in a hockey tournament - so close we could see the sports fields from the garden! Jemma's house worked perfectly for us!

Enjoyed my stay at Sizwe’s place. Really convenient and quite a bargain for the price paid. I’d really share this place for someone else as I may potentially go back there myself.

We got what we paid for, the place is clean, had WiFi and my family enjoyed the place. Having breakfast at the patio was the best for us while listening to the birds. The host was very pro active and was willing to assist at anytime. The place was well located and it made my morning walk worth to remember. It's closer to the Howick falls, Karkloof Falls & Nelson Mandela capture site. i wouldn't mind returning for another stay. Thank you for your warm home.

Michele’s home was unique, lovely and cosy. We loved her enchanting home and atmosphere. Michele was accommodating to our extra needs, and it was a pleasure meeting her. Her dogs add a warm and friendly feel, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spent the wkd they with friends that we have known for over 30 years - beautiful underfloor heating was an absolute bonus. Woke up to glorious sunrises and the sounds of birds singing every morning. Beautifully furnished. And cosy gas fireplaces in all the rooms.

If you want complete peace and quiet this is the place to be. The house is huge and you can easily just spend a few days there with the family without having to go anywhere. The farm is perfect for walking, running, cycling or just having a fun time with the family. The kids loved the tennis court, seeing the horses and just playing in the beautiful Garden. Thanks for a wonderful relaxing stay.

Absolutely divine stay! The retreat home was stunning, peaceful, and perfectly suited for our retreat group. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the space was immaculately maintained. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a serene getaway 🙏❤️

This really is a beautiful spot if you looking for some time out. Unfortunately we were in and out for a school sports tournament with not the greatest weather so would have loved to be able to have had more time to stay. You do have to travel on a portion of untarred road but we all managed to reach our destination in a variety of car types. My favourite feature of that house is the well appointed kitchen - often in staying in self catering houses you are supplied with the bare minimum - which is definitely not the case here. Teas and coffees and basic condiments were such a nice touch - right down to a garlic press and an air fryer. Would definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed sitting in front of the roaring fireplace soaking up the magnificent view of the Drakensberg.

Spacious and homely. Allowed for my big family to get cosy and comfortable the whole weekend. Very responsive and gracious host. The place is heavenly you are nestled in the trees and captivated by the lake. It was too cold to swim so look forward to visiting when weather is warmer

We had an amazing stay, keeping warm with the indoor fireplace and wood provided by our host. The view is spectacular and there are nice walks around the dam. Was a very nice stay!
