Hotel vacation rentals in Hikkaduwa

This was genuinely one of our favourite places in all of Sri Lanka. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful with a stunning view of the lake and just the sounds of nature. The room is very luxurious, from the big comfy bed to the beautiful bathroom with a hot waterfall shower, it was perfect! Madhu’s hospitality was expectional, we were so well taken care of and felt at home right away! We had dinner on the terrace by the lake both nights and it was the most delicious and varied local food we’ve had! The breakfast was also fantastic! One of the highlights was when Madhu offered for us to borrow her paddleboard of the lake where we went round the lagoon at sunset and saw lots of widlife! A truly exceptional place, would definitely recommend!!

We absolutely loved our stay, didn’t want to leave, everything was really amazing/ perfect , lovely environment, friendly staff , highly recommended and will for sure return! Thank you for being an outstanding host!

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut! Das Frühstück war nicht dabei, war aber dafür sehr lecker. Bier gibt es kalt im Kühlschrank ;)

Der Aufenthalt bei Igor und Michele war einfach schön. Es ist ruhig gelegen, der Pool und die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten laden zum Entspannen ein. Es wurde gemeinsam gefrühstückt und die ganze Stimmung war super freundlich und familiär. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und empfehlen es zu 100% weiter.

Ich war eine Woche in der Unterkunft und war sehr zufrieden mit allem und kann und werde es weiterempfehlen. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick und ist umgeben von Natur, man hört das zwitschern von Vögel und man riecht den Duft von Zimt und kann in aller Ruhe entspannen. Man hat eine großzügige Gemeinschaftsküche wo man jederzeit kochen kann inklusive Essensbereich. Da ich durch mein Online Geschäft abhängig von gutem und stabilen Interner bin war ich sehr erfreut dass das Internet dafür ausreichend war. Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberfamilie war sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich willkommen und alles wird gemacht damit einem geholfen wird und das Essen war traumhaft. Vielen Dank für alles, ich werde wiederkommen.

At first - super fast communication with host. It makes everything much easier! Thanks for that. Everything was good at the end, just a little minus - when we arrived at evening pool was dirty. Also on next morning there was varan (big lizard) swimming - but our kids will say that it’s a plus :)) After we asked about the pool it was immediately cleaned. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was really great. We recommend this place! No worries about the pool we swim and everything was good :)) Beautiful view!

If you are looking of an oasis and an awesome hideout away from the busy streets of Hikkaduwa you found your place. Traveling can get exhausting, chanakas place is perfect if you feel like staying at home, reading and enjoying some private life in your cabanas. The design is quite unique and one gets the feeling of being at home, as soon as Faust welcomes you.

Everything was great, 5 minutes walk to a very quiet stretch of beach and definitely walking distance from all the bars and restaurants in Hikkaduwa. The staff also organised a delightful lunch in a neighbouring home, they very sweet and the food was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!

Without a doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The villa itself was absolutely stunning, the service was incredible. The location was so peaceful and tranquil (a bit out of the way from the busier spots, but that’s what we wanted) we practically had a private beach to ourselves, our own sunbeds and the food served by Rukmal was amazing, he is such an incredible chef! Would 100% recommend, if you are thinking of booking, do it!

Beautiful private property, felt isolated once inside. The place was spotless when we arrived and it had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely the best WiFi we have experienced in our two weeks stay in Sri Lanka, seamless allowed us to stream. Host extremely responsive, our electricity went out due to extreme weather and the issue was resolved within 10mins. We didn’t want to leave this place!

This place is so beautiful and looks just like the photos! It’s right on the beach and the the sound of waves is just so beautiful! You wake up to the most amazing view from your bedroom. Totally reccomend it. It’s on the main road and very easy to find. You can walk to the local markets and restaurants or take a tuk tuk. Will surely come back again!

We enjoyed our stay. Our host and staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The space is very serene, and the location is perfect - not far from shops and restaurants but at the same time quiet and peaceful. We felt very welcomed and very well taken care off.

Прекрасное место, всё в зелени, очень уютная комната со своей небольшое кухней. До пляжа и ресторанов недалеко, но всё равно лучше пользоваться услугами тук-тука, потому что тротуаров нет на дорогах практически. Нам очень понравилось пребывание в отеле, думаю мы сюда ещё вернёмся

Nice Villa. Everything was fine.

Отличная комната, чисто, все работает, белье и полотенца свежие, кондей мощный, насекомых нет, дают переходники для розеток и роутер, если вайфай не тянет. Персонал очень старается помочь, реагируют на любую мелочь и стараются думать наперед.

Really cool room with massive comfortable bed. Great A/C which owner James had fixed immediately when there was an issue. James is a friendly host, nearly always around the place working on something - so he's easy to get hold of if needed! He has an amazing team working with him, the guys are really friendly and will get you involved socially if you're open to that. It's a nice place just to hang out - with the pool, pool table, climbing wall and prob the best coffee in the area! Also as a surfer, it's literally 1 minute walk from a great surf spot and beach. I stayed for 9 days and could easily have stayed longer.

We stayed in Shanil's place for 6 nights. We were greeted by Suranga and his team immediately after arriving we received a cool coconut drink and felt right at home. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Suranga and his team did an excellent job. Especially the food was fantastic, the chef did an excellent job. One of the best Srilanken food we had in our vacation in Sri Lanka. We had breakfast and dinner as well. The even provided our kids with western breakfast. We felt welcome from start to end and didn't want to leave. Hopefully we are back. The house with the 2 double room and the separate house with the family room is well set up and gives each guest his own privacy. The location is great with the beach and the ocean right in front of the house. With a 15min. Tuktuk ride you are both in Mirissa and Weligama. Thank you very much for having us.

Wir haben uns bei Magda und Domi sehr wohl gefühlt. Die zwei haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und gaben uns gute Tips für die Umgebung. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und sehr sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsräume waren sehr großzügig und es fehlte an nichts. Der Pool war toll und wir haben viel Zeit darin und drumherum verbracht :) und unsere Tochter liebte zusätzlich das Trampolin. Alles in Allem war es mit die Schönste Unterkunft in Sri Lanka.

We absolutely LOVED staying at NETS. The room was beautiful and clean and the common areas were comfy. The pool was great to use on a lunch break. The co-working space was brilliant, easy to access and you can book separate rooms for meetings. The staff were amazing! We had such a great stay at mates villa! It’s a gorgeous space, and we loved using the pool and enclosed yard every day. As it’s newly opened, the rooms, kitchen and overall property is in pristine condition. Really good value for what we paid and would love to stay again next time we visit. Special shoutout to the hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming, and even helped us book a taxi to our next destination. Thank you!

Thank you for the wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and you could tell they worked as one team. This place became a true source of warmth and friendship for me. Every evening, they asked me what I wanted for breakfast the next day. When I got sick, they brought me plenty of tea with lemon without asking for anything in return. They organized a whale watching tour at a price lower than other excursion providers. I felt completely comfortable and safe.

We stayed a week at Slow Life boutique hotel. It felt very safe and contained . Our room was lovely upstairs with a little balcony ,air conditioning and our own bathroom. Everything was very clean our sheets and towels were changed . The common area was available but when in the hotel we spent more time in our lovely cool bedroom. Marissa was interesting to explore . The southern end of the beach was a lot calmer to swim in. It was great watching the surfers at the northern end of the beach . The only thing that wasn’t available was facilities to cook our own food . But that was fine as there were so many lovely places to eat in Marissa. Our hosts organised a scooter for us to use . Thanks very much for everything.

Great place to stay for long time. Reasonable prices and value for money. Super clean rooms and swimming pool. Owner Lakshitha is nice and super helpful. The kitchen is eqiuped with all the items to cook by ourselfes. The breakfast from the shanthi boutique villa was more than expexted. Overall a super experience. Love to stay more on this place.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce logement ! Tout est accessible à pied, dans le centre de Galle. Idéal pour visiter la ville ! Le gérant était très accueillant et a l’écoute ! Le plus c’est le petit déjeuner le matin et une très bonne connexion wifi ! Merci pour votre accueil !
