Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Heceta Beach

The house was in a location that was private and easy to get to town for groceries. Views from the house to the ocean were fantastic. The house itself has a lot of stairs which can be a problem for those with ambulatory challenges. Waldport is a quiet town and less touristy, which we appreciated. We loved our 8 day stay there. We also appreciated Jon's flexibility in allowing us to reschedule at the last minute due to a family situation that arose.

Jason’s place was just what we needed! I enjoyed going to the creek and exploring! It was perfect. Our dog loved it! We went to Florence to get some fresh crab— yum! We hope to go back!

Kathy & Mike's place is really charming and incredibly well equipped. They could not have been more responsive to a couple of questions that came up during our stay. The description of the place was accurate, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing time staying here! The home had everything we needed, including things we forgot to pack, like beach towels. The beds were very comfortable and we loved watching a movie on the projector screen as a family. The best part for us was the beautiful river and the peaceful time kayaking while we watched our girls having fun playing on the sand. It was wonderful to be so close to Florence and the Heceta lighthouse / beach. We also drove up the road four minutes from the house to Ginderbread Village restraunt / bakery. The lady who runs it is beyond sweet and they have fun traditions that made it a special experience as well as delicious food. And we are especially grateful the hosts took the time to help us find a mechanic!! Our truck had issues and all mechanic shops were closed. They took the time to find a friend to help us out. We so appreciate their help beyond their job description as a host. Thank you so much! Such a great trip!! We will stay again in the future!

We had a great stay. Welcoming and comfortable stay. Very close to the beach. I was worried the traffic might be loud but the home was very sound proof and we barely heard anything.

This is the second time we've stayed here. Nothing beats the view. The house is just as described. The little neighbor lady below the house is adorable and her yard is beautiful as well. It was a fun trip!

Incredible view and great location. We visited Florence, hiked around Cape Perpetua, ate dinner in Yachats, and walked around on the beach below the houses. We also spent hours just looking out into the view. Stairs down to beach are steep but short. Cottages are very close together and lots of cute friendly pups so just be aware if you have a barky dog like us :) we had a small hiccup upon check-in but Bryan was very responsive and provided a solution right away. He clearly takes great pride in his beautiful cottage and it shows

Debbe's house was amazing. the beds were very comfortable. everyone had a television in their own room. she had absolutely everything you'd need. would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect home and location for a vacation with extended family. Everyone loved the house!

This place is incredible. You won't find a better spot. The backyard is sand dunes that lead to the Pacific Ocean, and, to what feels like, a private beach. This is especially perfect for one or multiple families. Six bunkbeds and lots of toys and a play area for small children. Our kids had an absolute blast! You'll love this spot, and Claudia is super responsive to any needs that may arise :)

My wife and I wanted a private space where we could walk our dogs on the beach, cook dinners, read books all while listening to the ocean. This was an ideal location and a great house. The house was much larger than we needed so we spent all our time on the main floor that has a great view of the dunes and ocean. We spent each nite eating diner with a view of the setting sun over the ocean.

Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, great hosts, very responsive but not at all intrusive. Perfect space for children to play in the backyard sand without having to go to the beach (the backyard practically is the beach). We had two families. And because most of the children were girls it was perfect to have all the girls downstairs and the few boys chose to sleep on the porch on cots instead of in the living room. Highly recommend. I hope we can go back!

The house is fantastic! Laundry is only accessible via an outside stairway - is it in the basement/garage. The 4-digit code for the garage is in the binder/folder. The instructions sent via Airbnb were hard to understand and incomplete regarding accessing the garage/laundry space. We had to call to get the code (we later found it in the binder.) The house provides a ton of beach amenities like chairs, towels, toys, kite, etc. Even sleds for the dunes! Our kids had a blast. We'd definitely stay again.

My wife and I will definitely stay here again. We were weary travelers with no agenda and no itinerary, so we booked the room from Mo’s Chowder House in town. Victoria was immediately responsive and had everything ready for us by the time we finished dinner. It was a great place to rest up before catching the receding tides just a few miles North of Florence. Excellent stay. The landscaping out back was truly spectacular.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Seas. First of all, I LOVE sunflowers so I was super excited to find them all over the place! Everything was clean and although the space was small we had everything we needed. Great bath and shower, comfy bed, lovely outdoor area. Walking distance to the beach, too! Also, Norma was super responsive and friendly. My mom and I woke up to a minor ceiling leak in the kitchen on our first morning and it was fixed within a matter of a few hours! I would definitely stay here again and I recommend this spot to anyone traveling to the area.

I've been coming to Florence for a long time and this was my favorite lodging by a long shot! An absolute dream condo right on the water. The view is out of this world. Best patio seating in the city! Your home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable! It was tempting to never leave. It's so quiet and peaceful at night, we all got some needed sleep. Plus, being right at the end of Old Town is so convenient to walking around the cutest little town. I definitely plan to return and will always hope your home is available!

Loved the place! Great parking for the dunes. Me and my family are always looking for places with great space and this fit all our needs I loved the kitchen and how everything was labeled. It was very comfy and private.

Me and my husband loved our stay at Michael's Airbnb and we loved the wildlife that we were surrounded by, especially the elk. The elk lookout down the road off of the highway is a wonderful place to see a huge elk herd as well as near the cabin. It's a great location, there's forest and wildlife near you and within 15 minutes you can be on the coast. Michael was very friendly, he gave us a nice tour and even wished me a happy birthday. The cabin was very cute and homey with a wonderful view of the pasture and the bathroom felt very close to nature. I also loved the ability to use the retro airstream, it was very beautiful and handy. My husband enjoyed some beers at their brewery shop which was amazing. This place is very very special and we'll definitely be staying again!

happy to return to Annie’s second cottage after staying in her other one years ago, it was quiet, private, & had everything we needed for a couple great days a the coast!
