Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hardanger

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with views of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with views of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks nearby, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The walk stupet naveset tronvik - on the flank there - is also well indicated. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice hiking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

Beautiful house with amazing scenic beauty

A lovely place, close to the side roads in Apalvegen and wonderful by the fjord. Everything was top class, and well equipped both inside and in the outdoor area. We are six ladies who have had a great time.

Rosendal, the nature, the mountains, the culture, the weather. Everything was wonderful. Tinghuset, the hosts Anita and Dag and the swimming area as well. We had a wonderful long weekend and missed nothing. We gladly came back...

Christine’s place is very well located and we enjoyed walking to all of the sites in Bergen. The apartment is clean, nicely laid out and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable! We highly recommend!

The house is very modernly renovated and beautifully and stylishly furnished. We felt comfortable there. The bed was super comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The lakeside location was super quiet and perfect for switching off. We liked it there, but the house could use a little love in one place or another. Communication with Benjamin was great and he responded quickly to any questions.

Definitely one of my most beautiful homes rented on Airbnb. The house is decorated with care, feet in the water, calm, the kindness of Torstein and Ida. We are the opposite of anonymous lockboxes that are multiplying everywhere. I would recommend it 100%

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town to hike Trolltunga and this place was conveniently located right at the turn off the main street towards the trailhead, about 13 minutes. The host was very communicative and responsive and had local recommendations for us. Everything was great and we would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Hilmar's! He was a very nice and informative host who took the time to show us around the apartment. It was nice and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. An added bonus was the small terrace in the garden with chairs and tables, perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun. Highly recommended!

We were delighted to stay at Gunlaug's place for a few nights. The place is spacious, clean, and the check-in very easy. Moreover, the surroundings are magic and close to many natural attractions. Finally, Gunlaug is very kind and helpful, she goes the extra mile to make us feel at home! Very much recommended, we will back :)

We felt very much at home. A great place to stay with a very nice garden and a picturesque view. Fortunately, we had perfect sunshine so we enjoyed the view and sun extensively. There is even a washing machine and laundry rack, in addition to a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the huge TV also invites you to end the evening on the couch. We have stayed in Bergrid's house for two days and enjoyed it very much. It is in a quite area, looking out over one of the inlets of the Hardangerfjord. There is a nice waterfall close by. With good weather you have good places to enjoy outside. Stores and restaurants are a bit further away, so get some supplies when you're on the way. The house itself has everything you need and there is sufficient privacy. You do hear some walking going on the higher floor, but not on an annoying level. We do recommend to stay here!

Very authentic renovated Telemark barn. Located on the Totak. View of the lake and the still partly snow-covered mountains. Berit and Knut are very friendly people and like to have a chat. All basic amenities are available in Rauland.

Everything was good !

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

We spent 10 days with Linda. The house is very lovingly furnished with everything you need to feel comfortable. Linda was always promptly available and friendly. We absolutely recommend Linda's house!

Olav's place is beautiful. We've enjoyed our time here, especially since we were blessed by some of the best weather we've had in Norway. The view is absolutely amazing and it is worth every penny. The house itself is full with everything you need, to make you feel at home for a month. The location is great, quiet, you even get a barbecue in this price! The host, Olav, was also amazing and helped us out with a lot of useful information and he was always proactive to help us. I would recommend his place anytime! I hope we shall come again! We had a very nice stay at Hilde's house. The location right on the fjord is very nice. The house was absolutely big enough for us with 10 people. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The boat, which can be rented in addition, is simple but in very good condition and has a 20 hp motor. As an angler, I can say: The fjord is an absolutely excellent body of water for mackerel and saithe. Hilde also gave us great tips for excursions. Thank you!

Had a great stay in the cabin over a weekend. Just a few minutes drive from Mikkelparken, which was the main destination of our trip to Kinsarvik. The cabin is idyllically located among the apple orchards, and I had some quiet moments with fishing down by the fjord, while our boys had fun rolling down the hill and jumping on the trampoline that was available to us. Beautiful cabin and surroundings – highly recommended!

Peaceful location with a beautiful view of Bergen. Feels cozy and private, yet still provides quick access to the city. Cozy living area and heated floors in the bathrooms made us not want to leave!

Stunning location right at the edge of the bay with beautiful views of the sea on one side and steep mountain slopes on the other. Its a nice quiet village with lovely plantations and fields. The house has big glass windows to enjoy the exceptional views. The place was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utencils, crockery and all the required kitchen gadgets. There was enough place for the 8 of us to not feel crowded inside. There was enough place to park our 2 vehicles. Every single detail was thought through. The linen and towels were clean. Absolutely nothing I could think of that was missing or not up to the mark. 10/10 for me.
