Our home is close to the centre of Hanmer Springs. It is situated on a private flat rear section with an outlook to the surrounding mountains. You are required to clean this home when you leave and bring your own bed sheets, pillow cases and towels. Or these can be provided upon request for an additional cost. Just a few minutes walk away is the Hanmer golf course, tennis courts, a children's skate park and playground. The village shops and hot pools are a 10 minute walk along flat streets.

Alpine Ave by name....Alpine feel by setting!

Our architecturally designed home is on the hill overlooking the Hanmer Springs township, called Conical hill. It's a pleasant walk to town but you need to remember you are on a hill. The house is private and surrounded by trees. There's a very efficient logburner in the main room and a 55" TV with smartvu tv & Netflix. There's a games-room in the carpeted garage with table tennis, foosball and another TV with Sega to keep the kids happy.

Perfect location. Great property for a group of people. Kitchen was well setup. Easy walk into town and hot pools. Parking was not a problem. Lots of blankets and heaters. The log fire was amazing. Best of all - Carol is a great communicator. Kept us up to date with instructions.

Beautiful, historic little house. Lots of character. Very nicely renovated with lots of period touches. The home made biscuits with walnuts from the tree outside were a lovely touch. Even though it was a very cold night we were nice and toastie with the heaters/gas fire and blankets.

Second time we’ve stayed here while visiting Hanmer with family, and another great place to stay. Very close to downtown and the water park. Only shortfall is dishes, glasses and cups are very limited, so you’ll need to hand wash before you come close to filling the dishwasher. Hand to believe they don’t stock more than six of each item.

We had a lovely stay. Wish that it was for longer. Perfect location. Easy walk in to town, to the local cafes and restaurants or a short 2min drive. The house was very warm and cosy. Beds were incredibly comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!
