Fantastic spot!! Great walking access to food, the walking path, and shops nearby. Roy's is below the unit, so you hear and smell them preparing all the delicious pastries and pasties starting quite early. I bring a noise machine standardly. THE VIEW and deck makes this an epic place to stay. I cannot imagine staying somewhere better. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was super convenient.

The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!

Great for snowmobilers, about 1-2 blocks from direct access to trail 14 - no need to trailer. Room to park trailer and sleds. Close to fuel stop. Restaurants within walking distance, or off trail. Nice cozy and clean place, more room than typical hotel room with kitchen amenities.

A spacious sleeping area features a large bed with a light gray striped comforter and a coordinating pillow. Dark wooden nightstands are positioned on either side of the bed. Vintage chalkboards from the classroom era are mounted on the walls, adding character to the room.

This place was perfect for our family of 4 (all adult age). We had plenty of space, the beds and furniture were comfortable and the location quiet and peaceful. Watching the deer in the yard was an added bonus. We were there for an event, so did not cook, but the kitchen looked well stocked if we needed to. Lastly, I greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the house.

This stay was everything we could have hoped for in an AIRBNB. The home is attractive and well appointed, with all the essentials you could possibly need. It’s sparkly clean. It has a wonderful view from every direction. The guide for guests made it so easy to use the mechanicals; and the host is very responsive. Make sure to walk the beach every day. We did! So amazing!!

We had a great stay! Perfect for our family - two kids ages 1 and 3. Both bedrooms would easily fit a pack-n-play or two. Lots of room for the girls to run around inside and outside. We would definitely try to stay here again on our next trip!

All I can say is WOW! I would not hesitate to rent this place if I were ever in the area again. The kitchen is so well stocked with anything you could possibly need and more (coffee, tea, spices, popcorn). The hosts have really gone above and beyond in providing so many little "extras" that are really appreciated. We were there for a Michigan Tech graduation and we received a very nice card, balloon and bottle of sparkling juice. Everything was super clean and tidy and communication from the hosts is top notch. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Wow. Just wow. This place is special. We had enough room for all the parents and grandparents to spread out, and still had areas of the home left over. The view of the water is simply serene 24 hours a day. Easily the best house we’ve stayed at in Houghton.

A comfortable bedroom is furnished with a spacious bed dressed in a floral-patterned comforter in shades of white and teal. Decorative pillows add a pop of color. A bedside table is positioned next to the bed, topped by a lamp that provides soft illumination.
