Escape the rat race and spend a night or 6 on our tranquil rural oasis. A hop skip and jump from the world renowned Hobbiton (13 mins) and Matamata (8 mins). Our farm stay offers 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom full kitchen, lounge/dining, outdoor fireplace/pizza oven. Plenty of room for the family!

Old Mountain Road Retreat Raglan

Situated in the secluded Waitetuna Valley is our modern but rustic, luxury accommodation. This unique rural getaway is less than 30 mins from Hamilton and 15 mins on to Raglan. There is one large bedroom upstairs with a King bed and a second queen bed downstairs. ( suitable for couples, small adult groups and children over 12 ) Soak up the peaceful ambience in our beautiful wood-fired hot tub or go for a short walk to our lovely creek where our pet eels are plentiful and enjoy being hand fed.

Enjoy a peaceful private apartment (main bedroom, ensuite & kitchenette). 2nd bedroom available which sleeps 3 (internal staircase to our private residence between bedrooms). Surrounded by farmland on the main tourist route between Waitomo/Hobbiton/Rotorua/Karapiro/Cambridge. We live downstairs with our 3 children, cat & dog. You are welcome to use our swimming pool, spa (hot tub), tennis court & BBQ area (with fire pit). Perfect accommodation for singles, couples or families!
