I would give Ian 20 stars as a host if I were able. He is a very warm & personable host. As far as the lodging, the kitchen area is nice & big with a butcher block island good for meal prep. The bed is comfortable with a nice fan available in the bedroom. Trash is handled by the host — you just put it out in the common hallway. Accommodations were stocked with all the essentials, too (TP, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc.) I have stayed in many short-term rentals & Ian was THE BEST host I have ever had.

I rented Marina’s place to attend a high school reunion. The apartment is private, located at the back of the house with no steps to speak of. The apartment was clean and air conditioned upon arrival. Parking for one car was a little tight when the owners cars were in the driveway. The home is It located near Huntington town but just off a busy street-you can walk to a local deli and 7-11, but it’s a decent walk to get to town. The driveway is in the middle of a deep curve on the road, so exiting takes a bit of blind faith. I could not work from the main room due to inadequate outlets in which to plug my laptop and devices. I had to work from the bed-not ideal when Zooming with a client. All in all, it was a nice clean apartment in a convenient location. Can’t ask for much more!

Louis's place was fantastic! I can't say enough good things about my stay! I wasn't familiar with the area at all and I debated btwn an air bnb or hotel. Thankfully, I made the right choice!! He accommodated last minute requests I had quickly, easing my stress. It really is the perfect hideaway..quiet, peaceful, VERY private and safe feeling. Everything from kitchen to linens to bathroom was spotless! Big and comfy bed..Modern and pristine appliances, and everything that I needed for a quiet dinner in, down to the slightest detail. The rain-like shower felt amazing..so relaxing..like a scalp massage! Spacious and modern, yet very cozy place! The patio and fire area also is great for a private lounge outside. It felt like much thought and caring went into designing this beautiful space and I thoroughly enjoyed it! If I find myself in the area again, I'd definitely want to stay here! Thank you, Louis!

Serene space! Can’t wait to return to visit the delightful koi in the pond, mature trees & pool! Cottage was cozy & location convenient. Rachel was so accommodating & a great communicator.
