Local walks and cycle routes including Transpennine Trail and Longendale Trail. 5 minute walk from Station with train to Manchester (40 mins). Nice garden for when the sun shines. Local country pubs with food and cafes and shops also close by. I can sometimes by arrangement cook an evening meal for an additional cost. Secure place to leave bikes

“Tony’s place completely exceeded our expectations! If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, with beautiful scenic walks right on your doorstep- then this little gem is definitely for you. It’s a small space, but tony has thought of absolutely everything that you could possibly need. Most of the touristic towns mentioned in blogs like Bakewell/ Dovesdale are in the south of the Peak District (and Buxton still 40 mins away by car)- so I was a little concerned we might be a bit ‘out of it’ - but Glossop is just on your doorstep which has lots of shops and restaurants if you need them... and for a peaceful weekend away- just being surrounded by the countryside in Tintwistle was perfect for us. I’d highly recommend the Longdendale Trail (although the bike hire shop in Glossop didn’t seem to be open anymore- so you'll have to complete by foot if you haven’t brought one)! Excellent value for money, and a really cozy stay!”
Self contained basement studio with own front door access and en-suite. Tea and coffee making facilities and simple breakfast provided. Please note this studio has no kitchen. Single bed with an additional pull out single bed- sleeps 2 comfortably. Situated in Bottom Mossley, just 5 minutes walk to train station and local amenities. Good connections for Manchester (20 mins) and just a few minutes walk from Huddersfield Canal, Pennine briddlepath and surrounding countryside of Saddleworth moor.
“Amy’s place is lovely and warm and cosy, and was just what I needed after a day walking in the pouring rain! Spotlessly clean and lovely touches, especially with tea/coffee and breakfast. I really appreciated the flexible and easy check-in, and directions were super helpful! Would definitely recommend. Thank you!”
