“I'll Just reiterate all the positive reviews posted already. This place is fantastic! I've stayed in few places that id say 'id give a flawless review', but this is one. The attention to detail is second to none. Their clever 'self built' design, as I found out when chatting to Jennifer and Mark, utilizes the space brilliantly. It really is way bigger than it looks and is finished to an extremely high standard. Bed is very comfortable and the space becomes very cozy very fast. The generosity of the welcome basket shows guests Jennifer really want you 'to make yourself at home' as she says herself. The WC and shower is just a short distance away and is great, as the water was so hot and instant, plus I had all the beautiful hens to follow me along. An all to brief night was had. I would recommend you book this lovely piece of tranquility.”
Right on the Carlow/Wicklow border and just over an hour from Dublin with fantastic views of the Wicklow hills. Bright and airy kitchen/living/dining room, well stocked for cooking and relaxing. Also downstairs, large bedroom with king size bed and the main bathroom. Two double bedrooms and second bathroom upstairs. Our own home is right next door. A mile from Hacketstown. 15 minutes to Ballybeg and Lisnavagh. Very family friendly.
“Noelle place is just lovely. Perfect for families with young children as there were lots of toys. She left lots of thoughtful extras as we arrived late at night there was bread and milk etc . Noelle was really promt to respond to queries we had which made the booking process much easier. We would certainly recommend this place and would love to visit again”
Set in the heart of Co. Wicklow, The Garden of Ireland, and close to the Tidy Towns village of Aughrim and to the village of Tinahely, this cottage is ideal for a weekend or midweek getaway, a base for a walking or activity based holiday or a convenient place to stay if attending a wedding in local Ballybeg House, The Brooklodge Hotel or The Woodenbridge Hotel. The cottage is less than an hour from Dublin. insta: kilpipe_cottage
“The perfect escape! My trip was a last minute decision to escape the city. The last minute nature of my trip was met with vey quick responses from Linda, which was so helpful. I wanted a quiet, relaxing space with nice scenery in which to work and write. Kilpipe Cottage delivered on all of the above. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, the space was warm, very well presented, with all of the facilities you could want for your stay. For me, it was the perfect working space, with reliable WiFi and a space to work. Unfortunately, I did not have much opportunity to get out and explore the area, but am very much looking forward to returning to Kilpipe Cottage for leisure purposes. Highly recommend this place!”
