Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Gunnison

This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. I initially thought the photos with the dramatic mountainous landscape was exaggerated, only to realize that the photos don’t do any justice. The sunset view was breathtaking! I felt like I was in heaven! The area in front of the house was also home to very cute animals which we absolutely loved watching. The house itself was as cozy with a spacious kitchen and pantry. I loved the fact that there was no tv which meant more family time and less screen time. I forgot my AirPods there and Carl kindly offered to ship it back too! Overall, amazing host, amazing home, highly recommend staying here!

This home is really stunning. So clean and comfortable. The owners did a fabulous job decorating/designing the space and take great pride in their wonderful home. The view of mt crested butte is amazing. We were able to see the fireworks on New Year’s Eve from the giant living room windows. The house is in a private neighborhood that felt extremely safe and was an easy drive to the mountain and into town. We will be back!

The place was incredibly well stocked with anything one might want: coffee, coffee making equipment, cooking equipment, nice shampoos and soaps and such. How well it was stocked and maintained made it feel like a hotel. The hot tub worked and the location was bright and scenic. What a wonderful weekend.

The beauty of Heaven House and the surroundings is unmatched! Lauren went above and beyond for us and we are extremely grateful! 10/10 in all areas! Thank you!

Loved this home so much. Didn't want to leave! Perfect for my love of photography, nature, peace. Loved every detail in the home. It was so perfectly decorated for my taste! So happy the coffee, shampoo and conditioner were supplied. Felt safe and at home, as I stayed alone there. Love the view from the deck, with hot tub, firepit, seating, dining table availability! Loved that there were fireplaces inside. So cozy!! Will be back!

Our stay was incredible. The home had everything you could need and more. It was beautiful and very clean. They had plenty of kids items as well and even items for our pets! Everything was thought of!

This place is beautiful! Would 100 percent stay here again. Elk were walking through the yard and it was such a great neighborhood. The stairs replace coffee in the morning! If you have a problem with walking to a house I wouldn’t say this spot would be for you. I say that as a level set of expectation because we all have different wants in life. This is a 11 out of 10 place.

Gorgeous views, walking distance to main street, easy parking. Our family of 4 had a great stay and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! We used it as a no-frills jumping-off point for various activities in Aspen and Carbondale and it was perfect for that. The space is beautifully decorated and the location is flawless.

Myself and my friends loved our stay at Lesley’s place! Lesley had clear notes/instructions scattered around the house which was extremely helpful for figuring out the tv and the shower. It was comfortable and I felt right at home. Above all else, the scenery was beautiful! It was lovely to sit outside in the backyard and enjoy the view of the mountains. Highly recommend staying at Lesley’s place!

The Mill Cabin Suite in Creede, CO was a perfect, cozy, comfortable and quiet stay for the two of us. It is ideally located on the edge of town, out of the main traffic pattern, and within walking distance of the market, restaurants and stores. It is is quaintly appointed with old Colorado mining town decor. In fact the bedroom is an actual reconstructed old small family cabin! The whole place was hand built by Jenna’s husband, Chev. You could tell that they really cared because of all the small, but very appreciated, small personal touches - fresh flowers, candles, welcome sign on fridge handmade with ball magnets, full info sheet, list of restaurants, lots of local brochures, personal hand written welcome note, hand laid flagstone floor in bathroom with hand hewn heart, etc. Both Jenna and Chev were very warm, friendly, super responsive and helpful. We even chatted for a bit over coffee and cookies. This will be our go to place in Creede. Cathy & Joe R.

We needed a quiet spot for a good nights sleep before beginning our next day of adventures and it was perfect and exactly what we needed. We slept great and she was so helpful.

Molly's apartment was exactly as advertised. She and her husband were attentive and responsive, and absolutely lovely. The home is petite and perfect; amazing views of Mt Sopris and right on the river. Molly and Aaron pumped the tyres of their bikes and we were able to ride around the neighbourhood. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and we felt so at home. Thank you Molly! Happy to recommend you 100%.

10/10 experience! Jen was super helpful and responsive. Her home is the most perfectly located for all possible adventures - easily accessible to Glenwood Springs, Aspen, cycling trails (we spent a lot of time on the Rio Grande) and a Whole Foods only 5 mins away. I feel like this Airbnb is what was Airbnb was meant to be - an incredible way to experience a place, in a beautiful community, hosted in such a personable way! Jen had thought of everything including a few snacks. We will definitely be back!

WOW! What more can I say! Kitchen was the BEST appointed kitchen with all the tools needed which is rare for an Airbnb. Other amenities that were appreciated were books, space heater, warm blankets, and humidifier. Entire walkout basement apartment was comfortable and contained all needed items and more. Penny met us and showed us around the apartment. She was very informative. House was on a quiet cul de sac and Leadville is beautiful. If I went to Leadville, this would be where I would stay again. I had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, just minutes away from the main strip and the gondola, which made it super convenient to explore all the nearby attractions. The accommodation itself was cozy and well-maintained, and one of the best surprises was the sauna. It was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. The staff was friendly, and everything was just as described. I really appreciated how peaceful and quiet the area was, while still being so close to all the action. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Everything about this house and our stay was spectacular! The decor was fascinating, the home owner has obviously travelled the world and brought pieces of the adventures into this rental. Everything from the gorgeous lighting (in every single room) to the heated floors and comfy furniture left us already making tentative plans to come back and stay again. The free shuttle to/from the mountain base made ski days so easy. We sat in the hot tub multiple times... pretty special moments sitting in the hot tub in the falling snow, looking out over the most incredible open space and mountain peaks, and watching a fox prance right though the back yard. We used this getaway to ski and to relax. I can't remember the last time I felt calm enough to take a nap in the middle of the day... between the comfortable furniture, pillows and blankets and the quiet of this location, inner peace came naturally. What a truly special home. Will absolutely be back!

Great location, just a few minutes outside of town. High quality, furniture, appliances, and kitchen utensils. Highly recommended, would stay here again.

This Airbnb was perfect for our ski trip. The place was very spacious and had an amazing view. The Airbnb was a 10 minute walk to the peak 9 lift and a 10 minute walk to Main Street restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive. Definitely would recommend staying at this Airbnb.

Unique home in a great location. The house is decorated beautifully and you get a private hot tub. Super spacious as well with several “guest houses” on the property. Like other reviews point out, the place definitely needs some updating. No one in our party loved the showers (small, no water pressure, difficult to set temp) and the beds were spring mattresses, so not the most comfortable. For those reasons, i feel the place was a bit over priced for our short stay, but all-in-all, we had a great time. The owner/point of contact seemed very friendly and was responsive when we reached out. We would consider staying again!

Beautiful stay, exactly as advertised. Far enough out of town that you could get some peace and quiet, but not to far to where you could gather the essentials and do some exploring. Ouray and Black Canyon are appx 1hr away and we had a blast checking them both out over the weekend. Beautiful country and the perfect place to see it.

This was an amazing updated townhome, with everything we could have needed. In addition the location was great - close to restaurants, shopping and skiing. They were great with making special accommodations for our needs. Thanks so much !
