Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

Granary Lodge is situated on a quiet lane, yet less than two miles from Thirsk; a busy, attractive market town. It is spacious with a large lounge, kitchen, a double bedroom (ensuite bathroom) and a twin room. Also, a shower room with basin and toilet. Enjoy the use of your private patio seating area with views over the owners garden and pond. A larger garden area and further seating is also available for guest use. Local good pub (15 mins walk). Accommodation comprises of living room/kitchenette, bedroom and wet room. Selection of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A T.V/D.V.D player are for your use, as is a microwave and induction hob for light cooking. Comfortable seating and a small dining area complete the main room.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. It is a cleverly and sympathetically converted building on a site which was originally a sidings for the local railway station (closed in 1960's). Materials were up-cycled giving a special timber interior but benefits from up to date fittings and technology It is on a private and tranquil site in open countryside with great views and lovely walks.
