Beachfront vacation rentals in Great Barrier Reef

Great place to get away and relax, no noise very little traffic. Great place for kids to ride their bikes safely.

We stayed here for nearly a week, was quiet, basically on the beach, was an old beach house type of house, which made it feel more at home (Not worried about damaging the perfect home and gardens type of house) also allowed our very Large German Sheppard - Rex to stay and was fenced all around, with large deck also being able to be closed off,(The photos of house don't show it, but there is a gate on the deck to the stairs going down) so we didn't have to leave Rex in the yard worried if someone decided to open the main gate in the driveway and him being able to get out (a worry when you are 600kms from home and he doesn't know the area), enjoyed the peaceful settling and the views to the beach and islands and yes we did use the bath on the deck (at night) , maybe the only issue i could see what be some type of privacy screen for the bath on the deck would be good, enjoyable place, if I go to Yeppoon again, would use again if Meg would have us

The house was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing stay. The host was always kind and available whenever we needed anything. Highly recommended

Our favourite little getaway. Such a beautiful peaceful beach house with everything we need. We check in and spend our time floating between the beautiful deck, the pool, and the beach. Perfect place to relax. This was our second stay and we will be back again!

We had a lovely stay at Litoria with my partner, 2 children and small dog. The whole place is very modern and luxurious with gorgeous fittings and stylish surrounds. We loved walking through the public shortcut access to the beach and wandering along the sand at the expansive beach. It was quiet with barely anyone around. We could walk to the skate park, splash park and basketball court which were all together on the beachfront. It was a short drive out to dinner at Mission Beach and the surrounds were picturesque just be careful of the wallabies beside the roads. They were so cute. We also had a visit from a massive green tree frog which was spectacular to see. We would definitely stay here again.

The cleanest bnb I’ve stayed in Their attention to details is a credit to them. I’d highly recommend this property and the host. We were only there a night. You could easily stay a lot longer and walk to beach and cafes every day. Excellent destination Highly recommend

Great lil beach house, loved the deck. We could see the sea! Great deck for our dog to have her kennel and mattress on. And she could see us sleeping in the bedroom from her kennel. Out of any bad weather. Which we didnt have. She felt at home. Loved walking to beach and pub for dinner. Everyrhing there that is needed for a beach holiday. Room for everyone on the deck. Next time we will bring our lilos for the deck and book for a longer break next time.

Simon’s place is a fantastic hidden gem in Cooee Bay. Very close to the beach, and other local cafes and restaurants. The space is exactly as described and very clean, tidy and spacious. A large studio apartment that is very pet friendly and really nice backyard. We loved staying at Simons place and would highly recommend it to anyone interested

Matthew was definitely a super host with quick responses to any communication. The apartment was in a great location with water views of Trinity Beach and within a few minutes walk to restaurants and a convenience store. A large resort pool was also a bonus to cool off after busy days sightseeing. Thanks Matt for a great stay.

Steve’s property is absolutely beautiful! The view from the balcony is stunning, lots of space throughout and well laid out. Checking in was seamless with the lovely Ann-Marie greeting us at the airport with golf buggies to get us and our luggage up the hill to the property. Highly recommend booking your family in for your holiday. Only problem is that you won’t want to leave! It’s just perfect!

What a little gem. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The bedding was extremely comfortable. The house is in a great location and a lovely deck overlooking the bay to enjoy. It’s an easy walk to the local little store, clubhouse and palms restaurant. The beach is perfect to walk. This beautiful property is perfect for a group, with all the bedrooms having their own ensuites. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced making cooking at home easy and enjoyable. The house is lovely, open and light looking out to the beach with a gorgeous pool. It’s impossible not to relax at this beautiful property. We loved it. Also plenty of space to have your own down time with two outdoor areas and generous open plan living space. Thankyou !!

Beautiful apartment and surroundings. Within walking distance to restaurants and beach. Owners and admin were very responsive to questions. Beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean. Appreciated the extra towels. Internet was a bit hit and miss and no shampoo in the bathrooms (lots of conditioner though) which may have just been an oversight. We would definitely stay again. Colleen and John’s apartment was perfect for a short stay, great location, very walkable and so relaxing. We loved the extra touches of a coffee pod machine and the breakfast hamper. Lovely touch!

What a little gem this cottage is. Well thought out spaces inside and out. Fresh limes and dragon fruit, local honey and chook eggs were there to enjoy. Communication was excellent. Great studio, comfy couch, great views! Value for money great, pool and outdoor area very well maintained, away to the beach super short. Only the tennis court is a bit short, otherwise we highly recommend the accommodation!😊

An amazing place in a stunning location

Lola & Wayne's apartment is one of the nicest Airbnb's we have stayed in. It's spacious and beautifully furnished; the beds were comfy, and both en-suites had beautiful bathrooms & towels. The kitchen was well set up with everything you would need if you wanted to make a meal. Location was brilliant, many Restaurants & Woolworths were just around the corner & Cairns Aquarium was one of the best Aquariums we have been to. We were picked up for all our tours from the doorstep so those early morning pickups were made easy! Also going to the reef as the boats left from the marina below us. We will miss sitting on the balcony looking out over the marina. Lola so kindly picked up a cake for me that I had ordered, such a beautiful surprise for my sister & her husband celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary, thank you Lola, that was much appreciated. Thank you Lola & Wayne for hosting us in your gorgeous apartment, you made our holiday even better than we could have imagined.

This was the perfect spot for six girlfriends wanting to relax, recharge, and spend quality time together in a beautiful location. The apartment is gorgeous and the view from the balcony is amazing! Everything is within walking distance, and we loved having access to the lagoon pool, spa, and gym. We had such a great time — would definitely recommend!

Melissa’s place was everything it said it was! Your own private pool, beautiful views & modern bathrooms. A full size fridge, most appliances & a BBQ to make it feel very homely. We had the place to ourselves & had a nice & relaxing stay. Melissa was lovely, providing lots of information & went above and beyond to make it stress free. Any time we needed to ask a question she was more than helpful & kind. Would thoroughly recommend Melissa’s place to anyone who manages to secure a booking!

We stayed for 7 days and overall really enjoyed the apartment. It’s quiet, cozy, and feels nicely secluded - perfect if you’re looking to relax. We really appreciated the beach towels and umbrella, which came in handy. The ocean view is lovely and peaceful. A heads-up: having a car is definitely helpful if you plan to go into Cairns or explore nearby areas. The internet connection was a bit of a challenge - the access point overheated and shut off, so we had to use a fan to keep it running. Also, having air conditioning in the bedroom would have made sleeping more comfortable, especially if you’re not a fan (pun intended) of fans running overnight. Other than that, everything was nice and the place had a lovely vibe ☺️
