Wow what an amazing place, so homely and cosy. Beautiful area and easy reach to local shops and walks. Very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend

Holmlea is a lovely little cottage with off-road parking in the heart of Mickleton. There’s two decent pubs in the village (Blacksmiths for beer, the Crown for food) both of which are easily walkable. The Teesdale Railway Walk is nearby, ideal for exploring other nearby villages and getting out into the country. The cottage itself was spotless, a cosy retreat for a couple and their dog. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Take a book, the tv signal is poor but you don’t go to this part of the world to watch tv. Will definitely be back soon.

Amazing place in Middleton. Very tastefully decorated throughout, comfy beds, nice views, very clean. Free parking. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!
