House vacation rentals in Grand Union Canal

The lovely home was ideal place to gather for a family wedding. There were 13 of us, including 4 babes and it worked very well. Masses of space inside the house and to be able to sit outside Thoroughly recommend it as a dreamy place to stage, perfect for all generations.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

The most amazing weekend in the most beautiful house! We loved every second of our weekend. So much to do including the swimming pool, games room, tennis courts and lovely walks. Spotlessly clean throughout. We can't recommend this house enough. Stunning property. Anne was so lovely and let us arrive a little earlier to put food in the fridge on a very hot day. She also extended our checkout time which gave us extra time in the lovely grounds. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you Anne. Wonderful weekend.

Lauren was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. My request for a birthday cake for one of our party was met with "I can arrange that for you and would you like candles and balloon decorations too." I got the brownie points but Lauren did all the work. The accommodation was beautiful on arrival and it bought on some very happy birthday tears. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard throughout, and it comes with a nice little private garden. The site is wonderful and has everything you could need, from a good breakfast to some lovely walks around fishing lakes. My girls had a wonderful long weekend at Laurens accommodation and,although not home yet, are already planning a return trip. Thanks again Lauren... 5*.

From 1st contact, Patricia was quick to reply & friendly. Her lodge was spotless and equipped with everything u cld want. Welcome pack of bread / milk etc such a lovely thought. Flowers and plants around the lodge are absolutely beautiful! The park itself is so peaceful. Would definately recommend

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We had a fantastic stay at Ingleby Retreat! The property was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — exactly as described. The surroundings were stunning and the facilities (especially the pool and kitchen) were perfect for a relaxing getaway. Amber was a wonderful host — very responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the smooth check-in process. Thank you for such a lovely experience — we’d definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Lovely home, felt very comfortable there- we had 4 children between 4 adults, and it felt like a lived in house- therefore we were not panicked about the children just being children!! The pool was a lovely temperature and our children enjoyed it thoroughly. House nice and warm, kitchen and lounge area which overlooks the swimming pool were a real hub of the home- a very nice space. All in all a great find for when we need to be in Hertfordshire! We would stay again.

The location was ideal - peaceful yet convenient to local attractions. Every detail showed a commitment to comfort and hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the service and polish of a five-star hotel in the most stunning location and surroundings. The Studio was exactly as described, and felt very spacious. The room was nicely decorated and felt clean and fresh. Due to the hot weather, the room felt quite warm, but Catrina had kindly provided a tall fan to keep us cooler. Everything we needed was provided. Catrina (and her daughter) were welcoming, but unobtrusive. We didn't have the opportunity to explore the area, but the village looked beautiful, with some nearby walking routes. Would love to stay again.

Jane and her husband what lovely, attentive and responsive hosts who made us feel welcome and at home for the weekend. The property is beautifully decorated and felt so cosy, there is ample parking, and - there's chickens! We even received some homegrown eggs as a leaving gift. Highly recommend!

We had the most magical Christmas at the Castle Ashby Cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The cottage was warm, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a charming fireplace, a Nespresso machine, and a well-appointed kitchen. A special touch that made our stay extra memorable was the beautifully decorated Christmas tree provided upon our request. The bedrooms were wonderfully comfortable, with plush beds and duvets that made it hard to leave in the mornings. The peaceful surroundings and stunning scenery around the cottage added to the charm, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. Sara, our point of contact, was exceptional—always prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She made everything seamless and stress-free. The only main improvement we could suggest is the addition of a combined washer/dryer. With active kids, it was a bit challenging to manage laundry during our stay. Thank you again!

Spacious property and very homely. Lots of little extras such as cooking oil, herbs and spices, a range of teas, hand cream, cotton wool etc. My son said the sofa bed in the second room was really comfortable. The matrass in the main bedroom fell a little lumpy in places but the pillows were nice and I did sleep well. I would stay again. Thanks Wendy.

In a really great location and one of the cheapest places in the area. Bernadette was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful house and immaculate on arrival. Had plently of amenaties (iron / hoover / cutlery) which was great!

All you could want for a short stay really - plus a great local fish and chip shop.

This was a fantastic place to stay, just off the M1, yet in the former village of Broughton, so very attractive surroundings and open space to walk my dog. It's also very convenient for visiting the centre of Milton Keynes, I was going to the theatre, which is ten minute drive, I would certainly stay here again.

This was our second stay at this beautiful farm cottage on the outskirts of Olney, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Nestled in the heart of stunning countryside, the setting is truly tranquil—surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of sheep, it’s the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage itself is incredibly cosy, immaculately clean, and feels like a true home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Penny is an outstanding host—warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, she makes the entire experience feel personal and effortless. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I had a great experience while staying in this house it was so clean and tidy I felt very comfortable The host was friendly and very helpful and cooperative It felt like home In addition the location was very safe So overall I highly recommend it The host contributed very well in making my vacation enjoyable

OMG, I don’t have the adjectives to describe this trip! I booked it for myself, my husband and our dog & it was pure perfection. Lesley was helpful as anything, gave a list of local recommendations and the easiest check in/out instructions. It was clean, fresh bedding and location was PERFECT for where we needed (within a half hour drive of all the tourist spots we wanted to visit). Lesley let us bring our dog, left a card for us and a towel/bag of treats for the dog just in case he wanted a swim in the canal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Third stay, that speaks for itself. Perfect location, central but hidden away. I just love the apartment, feels homely, quirky, individual. Always very special/ memorable staying there.

A beautifully decorated AirBnb, perfect for 2 couples. We particularly loved the kitchen and the outdoor area! It was sparkling clean and lots of thoughtful touches around the home. We'd definitely recommend staying here! The only thing to note is that the closest shop (that we could find) is a local co-op around 7-8 minutes drive away, so you'll definitely need a car. Other than that minor detail, we loved our stay here.
