What an excellent stay we had in Douglas! The room is cozy, extremely clean, and comfortable. We loved watching a movie while staying cozy in bed, and the rainfall shower head is a HUGE plus. The location of this suite is really the highlight. Right around the corner from some great restaurants (we dined at Borrowed Time and Happystance and would highly recommend both), and about a 25 minute (scenic!) walk to downtown Saugatuck where there is plenty to do. We rented a kayak at Third Coast Paddling, which is also a five minute walk, and took it out on Wade's Bayou. Also went to Crane's and Virtue Cider in Fennville, which is a short and easy drive. This is really an excellent spot to be if you want easy access to Saugatuck while still enjoying some peace and quiet. The hosts were helpful and had some great recommendations in their guide. Overall, we felt very welcome and were extremely pleased with our stay.

Beautiful little airbnb in a perfect location in Douglas. It is right downtown within walking distance of multiple restaurants and a short drive from Saugatauk and multiple beaches. I will also say the decor was so incredibly cozy!! Very comfortable beds with lovely duvets and a great vibe overall!! Loved it!!

Cynthia happened to be out with her pup as we arrived. She made the time to take me to one of the neighborhood's beach access sites so I could find the path on my own. Her place is well appointed and comfortable.

Wow! What an incredible weekend away all thanks to this CUTE airbnb! Hosting was wonderful, our stay was peaceful and they were very welcoming to my pup! Enjoyed every second, especially the sauna!

wonderful stay in Douglas. This space was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway. Room for leftovers in mini fridge, microwave and sink. Everything easy to locate and labeled well. Private little courtyard space was a lovely bonus. Very walkable to great restaurants and shops, to the cute waterfront area as well

Stayed at the Gull Lake guest house for four months and it was lovely. Dan and Lisa were very accommodating and helpful with any issues or questions I had.

Would highly recommend this to Airbnb to anyone thinking about booking. The house was easy to find down to the walk way. It was clean and neat. Updated furniture, came with extra things thru out the house that you may or may not need that was extremely considerate for guest’s. I would book again in the future if ever needed. The perfect place to call home base while in Saugatuck. You can’t beat the location! Once parked at the Airbnb, you can walk to all the things downtown Saugatuck has to offer. This made the stay so enjoyable and stress-free. Erin’s place was clean and exactly as described. It is on the smaller side and I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2 people, but it was absolutely perfect for my short vacation.

This was our second stay, and it was just as nice as our first. While we live a rural village an hour away, we enjoy being out in a more remote area, away from all the traffic and a greater distance from neighbors. We opted to bring a tabletop charcoal grill to cook a tasty dinner both nights on the tailgate of our truck. I can almost never nap at home, but we both enjoyed a long 3 hour nap on Saturday afternoon! We also enjoyed having a campfire both evenings. What a great way to rejuvenate before the work week ahead. Thank you for sharing your clean, comfortable and cozy place with us. I found myself dreaming about buying some property to build a similar retreat in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay here! 5 stars! I would give this place one of my absolute top recommendations. Place is beautiful, cozy, welcoming, and clean. Little treats and details-- like having chocolate, popcorn, cold water, and coffee available-- made it extra special. Fantastic, comfortable shower! Very comfortable bed. The place was so nice that we actually looked forward to returning early from our adventures to simply relax in the abode (this isn’t common for us; we tend to be on-the-go). :) Location excellent—easy to drive to key highlights of Grand Rapids and Holland. Friendly hosts. Great communication! We noticed there were no requests/demands of us at checkout (for cleaning, garbage or other prep)—the hosts took care of everything, which we appreciate as an extra nice detail. Thank you, Cindy and Daniel, for a lovely stay! We would love to come again.

Overall a wonderful stay. The chickens and house cats were sweet. Thoe house was quiet and we all loved it.

What a wonderful retreat! The natural beauty of the vast yard and gardens surrounding the pond, plus the clean, calm, thoughtfully appointed home were so welcoming, so perfect. Mary even surprised us with a warm, freshly-baked loaf of sourdough bread, jam and butter! Their place is just lovely--tastefully decorated, uncluttered, very charming and peaceful, but with all the amenities. They were great hosts, available yet completely inobtrusive. We'll be back!

We loved our stay. Plenty of room and was very private. The space was very clean and homie. Would love to stay here again. A great space for a toddler.

It was a great and wonderful experience. I won't say Jacky is one of the best host, infact she is the best host. It was my wife's birthday and she arranged a beautiful cake surprise and that too complimentary. I am so thankful. I would highly recommend Jacky's place. Best Host! Indeed!

Tanner’s unit was a perfect home to come back to while adventuring around the area. Comfy King bed, spacious kitchen and beautiful nature scenery. Given the time of the year, we did need to be cautious about letting bugs in, but the windows all had good screens so it was very minimally a concern.

The hosts were exceptional and kept in great contact. They had everything we ever could have thought of needing during our stay. The house was super clean and felt like home. The little welcome note with snacks and muffins was a great touch to an already inviting atmosphere. We will definitely book again if we ever need a place to stay when in Mt. Pleasant again.

Hope’s house was a really unique and great find. She was very kind and even baked us some food, which was above and beyond what I’ve experienced at other Airbnb stays around the world. She is what Airbnb strives to embody- hyper local, personable experience. All the touches to the decors and finishes were well thought out. As a super-host- I learned a few things from my stay with her. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our time at the Lilly pad condo. It was clean, very comfortable and a very relaxing weekend! My husband and I were there for a wedding and we were able to walk into town to all the bars, restaurants and shops. It truly was 100 times better than a hotel. We definitely recommend!

The location was beautiful and Brad and Ava were very good about communicating all within a timely manner and they had the space cleaned up very well for us when we arrived!

This was the perfect set-up for my fiance & I & our pup. We had plenty of room, it was set up really well, & was super clean. It was easy to get into, the private entrance was great. We also loved the walking path, it was a great neighborhood to walk the pup & go for runs. If we return to that area, we’d definitely stay here again!
