This is a repeat stay for us, so we obviously were impressed with our first visit. This space above the garage is new construction, nicely decorated and has everything you need. All the furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is WELL STOCKED. The neighborhood is so walkable - close to an organic grocery and the destination Bonfire Burritos, and a nice stroll to the heart of Golden with its many shops, restaurants and wonderful river walks. It is also close to Fossil Trace, a unique golf course (reserve ahead) and Clear Creek Canyon with its miles of creekside walkways. Our favorite spot was parking just west of Tunnel 5 and walking back east, as the walkway was away from the road. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. We will be going back!

The basement apartment had everything we needed, plus some. I’ve stayed in basement apartments before and they felt dark and dank, but this one was anything but! Tons of natural light and didn’t feel too enclosed. The kitchen window looks out over a green area and downtown Denver. We were able to hear those who live above walking around from time to time but it’s to be expected and wasn’t excessive. Easy to get to and close to many Colorado things we wanted to do - Red Rocks, RMNP and even a day trip up to Ft Collins. We’d stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at Christopher's rental. It was private, clean, comfortable and just the right price for a few days in Golden. I would stay there every time I go to Golden!
