It was lovely to meet David and Bob the dog. The house and garden was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay at his place. Plenty of amenities in the property and lovely outside space. Would highly recommend staying here, hopefully we will get to stay again when we are in the area. Andrea, Clive, & Sue. 💜

Renovated Country Cottage with Stunning Views

SueRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is simply one of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. Beautifully renovated and literally everything you need is there . Beds very comfy, lots of lovely towels and even dressing gowns and slippers. The views are amazing and at night everything is so quiet! There is a great pub 5 mins walk away ( altho the food is not cheap!). Claire is a lovely host, very responsive and helpful. If you need to go to this area of the UK this is def the place to stay - hopefully we will be returning!

A studio with a view for miles

Wow. One night was not enough! Perfect for two best friends getting together from opposite ends of the country drinking, laughing and enjoying the views from a beautiful place which had everything we needed. My four-legged friend enjoyed the freedom and the space too. None of us wanted to leave! Thank you!

Dorset Cosy Cottage: rural, historic, coast, rail

It would be hard for me to review Wendy’s place without it sounding like I was exaggerating! She is kind, proactive, friendly, interesting and she went far out of her way to make my stay truly memorable. If I could give 50*s, I would! An amazing lady and a beautiful home. Lucky me.

Charming Coach House Retreat Near Sherborne Abbey

LucyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really enjoyed staying at this property that our 3 year old son affectionately called ‘the chimney house’. The communication from Veronica was great and instructions were clear. The property was spotlessly clean and as described (a great shower!). It felt very private, not overlooked and hardly any passing cars, just sounds of the occasional cow and views of sheep. It was a perfect base for lots of national trust places to visit such as Montacute house, and a must-see is Stourhead, about 25 minutes away. And for the kids, Longleat is only 40 mins away. Sherborne is 10 minutes down the road with a handy Sainsburys and a selection of nice pubs and cafes. The price per night was reasonable, and definitely the most competitive compared to other properties within the Dorset/Somerset region. Would absolutely recommend this place and would definitely stay again (so long as your prices don’t increase 😁) Thank you for having us.

The Sunday Schoolroom

JonathanRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a great time staying in the Sunday Schoolroom, it was cosy and quirky and very enjoyable. There is some great art work and lots of other interesting things about the Sunday Schoolroom, we loved the starry sky in the bedroom! Martin was very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit and telling us about things going on in the village. Thoroughly recommended.

Luxury first floor apartment in Sherborne

Lovely accommodation. Very clean. Ideally placed to explore Dorset. Close to shops and places to eat. Would certainly recommend. The only problem was lack of coat hangers. There were only three in total so we couldn’t fully unpack.
