Looking for a rustic alpine hut, arrived in cold and fog, but then compensated with a breathtaking panorama! A beautiful cottage that invites you from the first moment, super well equipped, a warming stove for cold days, places to linger and dream. Great hikes along the lakes or to the peaks. A dream, a place to return!

The location is absolutely perfect — peaceful, green, and shaded in the afternoon, which made both indoor and outdoor areas super comfortable even on warm days. The house is beautifully equipped: a fantastic kitchen, cozy common areas, a big outdoor hammock, comfy loungers on the lawn, and a huge cushioned daybed we absolutely loved. You can really tell that everything was done with great care and quality — all the little touches are there to make your stay feel easy and enjoyable. When we discovered the huge selection of board games, we honestly felt a bit sad we didn’t have more time to play them all! It’s the kind of place where you’d love to stay longer just to relax and unwind. We also went on a stunning hike to Schoberstein, just a 20-minute drive away — the views were truly breathtaking. One small tip for future guests: be sure to book restaurants and even breakfast spots well in advance, especially during high season. Highly recommend — it’s a real gem! 🌿

A beautifully located Airbnb. Plenty of space and you can have a good time.

We had a wonderful time in the former hunting lodge. It is located in the middle of the idyllic nature of a mountain valley, within walking distance of a clear swimming lake and directly on a flower meadow and on the edge of the forest. The terrace offers sun from morning to evening and is ideal to start the day with a nice breakfast in nature, or to end the evening at sunset. From the house you can take many hikes - to various peaks or along the valley and to the Wörschachklamm. The house itself offers plenty of space for 6-8 adults, is dry, clean and cozy. The host is friendly, helpful and always responds very quickly. So if you are looking for accommodation for a hiking vacation in the middle of nature, this is the perfect place to be 😊

Yagaweh, this is pure vacation and relaxation! A beautiful house in a beautiful place...secluded location, hikes from the front door, views of the lake, crazy sunsets and jealous three watching hikers ;) We had a great time and were lovingly looked after by the host all around. Thank you!

We had a great time in the apartment! Everything was super clean and very well equipped. The pool was particularly convenient in the same building. The location is great – in a few minutes you will be at the lake or at the Schafbergbahn. Ideal if you like to hike or just enjoy nature. Check-in was totally straightforward and the host was super helpful – with lots of great tips for excursions and restaurants around. The view from the balcony to the mountains was also particularly beautiful – simply fantastic. We would come back anytime!

We spent a wonderful trip here with friends and truly enjoyed our stay! The house is located right next to the beautiful Wolfgangsee lake, which made the setting extra special. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating—she even prepared a lovely outdoor seating area and grill for us. The accommodation was absolutely cleaned and fully equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings are stunning and peaceful, perfect for relaxing or exploring nature. We highly recommend this place for groups or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location. Travelling with our two adult daughters Andreas’s flat was perfect. His lovely wife popped over to welcome us. There were homely touches like fresh meadow flowers on the table & drinks in the fridge. We had a great 4 days exploring a beautiful area despite the damp weather. The flat is warm, beds were comfortable & we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful garden & the very convenient location for exploring the area on foot. One thing we were unaware of was that many of the local establishments would prefer payment in Euro cash rather than card (some were cash only) & ATM charges are high so make sure you take € with you. We would love to return again one day & explore further

The accommodation was nice, with a beautiful view and a great location. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. During our stay, there were a few issues - specifically with hot water, and also the fact that they started trimming the hedge at 7:00 AM on Saturday. But these things can happen, after contacting the host, she quickly addressed the situation and apologized for the inconvenience. She also later brought us the dishwasher pods that were missing in the apartment. Despite these complications, I would recommend the accommodation. :)

The location was great easy walk to the main square. Apartment is just as listed would stay again .

Beautiful vacation home on the shores of Lake Traunstein. Magnificent views of the lake and mountains from the living room or terrace. In 1 minute you can reach the house's own, private lake access, which is perfect for relaxing after a city or mountain hike. Hostess Herta was friendly, helpful and explained everything well and immediately helped if there were any questions. We will be happy to come back. Regards

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Traunsee. Located in a quiet, green neighborhood with beautiful views of the lake and mountains – perfect for relaxing. We particularly liked the kitchen with a pass-through and the small, cozy garden, which invites you to linger. The location is also awesome. The place is super quiet yet well connected. The house offers ample space for several people, is well equipped and overall solid. Some minor details could be improved in the future, such as cleaning under the bed and in the corners, as well as a slightly better coordinated set of sheets and dish towels. Regardless, we had a very pleasant time and would recommend the accommodation in principle – especially for families or small groups who love nature.

A lovely peaceful spot in Obertraun with easy access to the lake and transport. The pictures do not do this place justice - very clean, great amenities, and comfortable beds. It was perfect for a family of four for everyone to have their own sleeping areas.

I feel people often overuse adjectives nowadays. I hate to sound cliche, but this place was truly magnificent. We didn’t want to leave! Enchanting! Ruth was a great host, gives excellent instructions on entering the town and House Seegarten. She gave great recommendations. She was flexible on our checkout. This is the first place we have been in Europe that we were talking about returning to before we left. Don’t miss it!
