Staying at Alexia's house was beautiful and relaxing. The accommodation is amazing, large rooms with a warm atmosphere, clean and tidy and very well equipped with all the necessities. Alexia is very welcoming and full of pleasant attentions. You can't ask for more.

Individual Rooms in Large Country Cottage

I had a fantastic stay in Ellen’s house. Felt like at home from the very first minute. Place is clean and nicely located with beautiful Mountain views, so perfect to exploring around Wicklow. Ellen proactively reached out knew exactly when I was coming. Had a lovely chat when I arrived with a cup of tea and a cake. Hot water in the shower, so no issues there. Good spacious room and a comfortable bed. Highly recommended overall.
A scenic view of a misty valley is presented, framed by lush greenery and trees. Rolling hills rise in the background, displaying autumn colors. Soft clouds linger above the landscape, adding to the serene atmosphere of the Wicklow mountains.

The place was lovely, calm and cozy. Fiona & Edwin were very friendly, welcomed us, suggested places and were available to any help needed. I asked if they had any birthday decor to put on the room and they left banners, cards and balloons. Very cute and kind! Thank you

We felt very welcome at Bernie’s place. The house is surrounded by beautiful flowers and the breakfast was really good. We loved her freshly baked scones especially and after 9 days in Ireland they have been the best scones we had - and we tried quite a few!
The stone cottage features a charming exterior with vibrant red doors and window boxes filled with colorful flowers. Lush greenery surrounds the building, and a gravel pathway leads to the entrance, highlighting the rustic appeal of the structure.

Stone Cutters Cottage

I arrived by motorbike in the late afternoon after a long day riding. The weather was glorious with great views of the Blessington lakes. I found the cottage easily in the Heritage village of Ballyknockan famous for its houses and cottages built from the local granite. A unique location! The keys were in the door. Felt right at home. Clean and tidy. Welcome basket.. Met Theseen's mum Elaine and dad Terence. A family of stonemasons. You won't find friendlier neighbours. Helpful. Had a walk up to the old and once very famous granite quarry for the sunset! Was leaving early in the morning after a good rest. Recommended !

Ballymaconey House Bed and Breakfast

HannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I came for just one night, wet and slightly muddy from a tour up in the mountains. And what did I find? A beautiful house, clean, picturesque, homely, a nice hot shower and a very friendly and forthcoming Ann, who gave me time to settle down, but was always there for a talk, offering tea and advice about what to see next day. Breakfast next morning was marvellously delicious, with fruit (i.e. strawberries!), muesli, yoghurt, homemade breads, spreads, and also porridge and sausages, if one liked. There really was nothing to be wished for, except a longer stay...

Unique 19th century hideaway in Wicklow Mountains

KeithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Anja was a brilliant host, communicating clearly and proactively about everything, showing us around the cabin and explaining everything perfectly and cheerfully, making us feel right at home. The cabin was exactly as described, spacious, clean, and cosy. And the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean, it even had amenities like a blender and an ironing board which is way above what you’d usually expect. The bed and couch were comfy and the fire made any colder nights cosy and warm. There were extra blankets and towels already at hand. We had a lovely time staying in the Wicklow mountains. The cabin and surrounding area was beautiful and idyllic, with sheep and lambs playing in the nearby fields and a breathtaking view of the mountains. We took advantage of the location to drive to Glendalough, Blessington, and Russborough House and enjoy the local history and food. All in all a perfect trip, and we look forward to coming back again :)
