Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Gilpin County

My wife and I had a great time at the home! We went hiking, played games and rewatched some old movies. The fire pit and hot tub were awesome. We will miss waking up to the gorgeous Mountain View’s!! There was also a day when we were basically in a cloud the whole time, which gave a “twilight” movie vibe.. great time overall! The whole vibe and relaxing atmosphere was just what we needed. We will definitely be back!!

Jill’s place is absolutely lovely and such a nice escape in the mountains! The place was clean, organized and Jill was wonderful with communication and availability. Would recommend anyone to stay here with a large group!

WOW! What a beautiful place! We enjoyed the historic surroundings, the view, and the house is a museum to explore!! Best night's sleep ever in the comfy beds. House has everything you need, plus character and style too. Highly recommend this one!

Felt at home. Everything we needed as a base camp for daily hiking. Simple and with all the essentials.

This is a lovely house with an amazing view from the wrap around porch. While the house is amazing, it might not be for everyone. It is located above 8,000 feet elevation, I believe, so consider how that might effect those with certain health conditions. Also, although I do think it's accurate to say that a regular car can go up the drive to get there, if you are not used to outdoor adventure, it may be stressful for you to navigate the windy mountain roads and adventurous gravel drive. For others, this will be just the thing you are looking for. Also, the house does not have A/C and our experience was that the downstairs stayed cool but the temperature on the main level got uncomfortable for us during the day when it was very hot outside. It cooled off in the evening but if you stay during a heat wave you may need to hang out in the lower level during the day. These are not intended to be criticisms but considerations when deciding if this is a good fit for your stay

This house is amazing. We were surrounded by a winter wonderland. We all enjoyed playing in snow then warming up by the fire. There were so many comforts and amenities available. If you go in the winter, be sure to pick up groceries, etc. on the way. Bring snow chains/cables as the host recommends. Our family is grateful for opportunity to vacation in this mountain house.

This was a retreat and spa in one for us! The house is very spacious - my friend and I had our own separate quarters to hang out in and the common areas to hang out. We enjoyed the mini trails across the river with lots of little spots to sit and relax. The humming birds were buys non-stop all day enjoying the feeders. The sauna and hot tub were in good working condition and helped in relaxing all the more. We would definitely come back to stay here!

I can not say enough about this place it was exactly what our family was looking for. If you are looking to get out of the city and relax then this is the place for you. We spent every evening in the hot tub with the most beautiful views. Sitting on the porch one morning a fox came down the driveway, a moose came right to the water 15 ft in front of me, an elk was walking through the trees to the right of me and a momma duck had her babies out on the lake in front of me all within an hour. God really showed off that day. The home was so spacious there was plenty of room for all 6 of us. It was very clean and well cared for. There are plenty of hiking trails within a few miles if that’s your thing. We also spent a day in the hot tub, played board games and cooked on the grill, so if you don’t want to go anywhere there is plenty to do right at the cabin! 10 out of 10 would recommend Chris and Catherine’s place!

Loved this place! They thought of every detail. The remote needed new batteries, they had batteries. We needed a bandage, they had a First Aid kit. We cooked in both nights, they had everything we needed, including all kinds of spices and cooking oil. Felt open and spacious. We can’t wait to go back!

Sonja was very accommodating and helped us out when we were stuck in Idaho Springs with car trouble. The place was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs especially because we didn’t have many options. If you will be traveling with your dogs just know that the yard is not fenced. Beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely, comfortable basement flat with the beautiful green aspen forest just outside the windows. The neighbourhood is quiet and you can walk to the restaurants and shops of Winter Park or take the bus if you don’t want to drive. The only issue we encountered is that only one of the windows has a screen, so in warm weather, you may end up letting in bugs along with cool air. Apart from that it was perfect!

Nice cozy stay with a beautiful view of mountains that felt very close. The place was very clean and Marc was very friendly and responsive and it was a delight talking to him and he gave couple of good hiking suggestions. He had a large collection of books if you are a book lover. Will definitely recommend this place to other hosts. Sight of deer at the entrance of the property made our day .

Second time my husband and I stayed at Jennie’s place and it is fantastic! It’s in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown Boulder and surrounding areas. It is a beautiful garden level suite that is clean and well lit. She books up fast, so if it’s available when you want/need it, highly recommend booking!

We absolutely cannot say enough about how wonderful Judy is, and how perfect this apartment is. Judy greeted us upon arrival, gave us a full walk through of the apartment, shared GREAT, friendly conversation, and really thought of everything when it comes to creating a peaceful, enjoyable space. The area is quiet, the property is beautiful, and the apartment has some really cool features. The heated bathroom floor is amazing! The front end of the Jeep lights up and is the coolest night light ever! We didn't have much time to play pool, but it was an excellent addition to the space. The kitchen was cool, and covered in diamond plate sheets, sticking with the Jeep theme and decor. The murphy bed is incredibly comfortable, and allowed us to get a good night's sleep over the nights we stayed. Judy is truly a great host, and we highly recommend her apartment if you're looking for a beautiful property and peaceful location. Thank you for your hospitality, Judy! Can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay at Cythia and Jeff's cabin! They were so sweet and made us feel very welcome during our two night stay! The location of the cabin is perfect for visiting Boulder, taking a day trip to Estes Park, or visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park. Jeff has so much valuable knowledge about the surrounding area! We were able to visit two of the areas he recommended and we enjoyed going over to see the Moffat Tunnel. So many cool things to do close to their cabin.

I had a lovely stay at Desiree and Billy's place. It exceeded my expectations in amenities and comfort, and they went out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. Their place is cozy and inviting, and the bottle of wine upon arrival was an added touch and surprise! I would love to stay here again!

Very enjoyable stay at Jerome's. The location is perfect for sightseeing and hiking the many trails in the area. The unit is quiet and extremely comfortable. Well stocked and a scenic patio with a lake view. I will certainly be booking here again in the future. I highly recommend.

We loved our 3 night stay here. It was just as pictured. The bed is a king size and the linens felt nice. We did have a little trouble finding the right spot to live out of our 2 giant suitcases, but there is a dresser to unpack and drawers at the end of the bed if you want to unpack. Our favorite part was the sound of the rapids in the creek that runs next to the property. The small kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the option of the heater in the bathroom closet (great for when we were freezing after white water rafting.) Just an easy short drive into Miner St. in Idaho Springs Their instructions are helpful and clear. We'd love to stay here again!

Tim’s place was a perfect place for our stay. Close to both bars and restaurants in Winter Park and Fraser. Tim was super responsive with questions we had. Totally recommend Tim’s place!
