Cabin vacation rentals in Gilpin County

We were very comfortable and loved being in the mountains. Breakfast out on the deck with the local dog to come visit was great, we didn't miss ours as much. When we come back to Colorado, we would probably pick Tami's place, we felt like we were at home. Thanks for making our vacation a special, relaxing time! Karen and Zachary

Fantastic little cabin in the woods. The cabin was exactly as the photos portrayed. The cabin was well stocked with whatever we needed, including portable fans/heaters, which helped with the ever changing temperature. As noted in the description, the stairs to the loft are very steep. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Stayed here for a short weekend with a couple friends, and was satisfied with the cabin overall. The one thing we didn’t realize when booking was that this cabin has no AC of any kind, so keep that in mind if it’s set to be super hot (they had one fan in the cabin, and offered to bring more should we need it. Keeping the windows open made it tolerable) Host’s were very responsive, and answered all of our questions in a very reasonable timeframe. Prior to our arrival they communicated when the cleaning was finished, should we want to arrive early. Overall satisfied with the rental, and would use again if our travels bring us back to the area.

Amazing little cabin get away! My boyfriend and I looked for a long time in different state and places to see where to get some time alone. This place was MAGICAL and we had such a beautiful experience together. The hot tub is a super nice touch to complete a luxury get away feeling. We are definitely coming back for our anniversary next year. If you want a private and secluded dream vacation in the mountains than this is the perfect little place. 🩷

This cabin is absolutely fantastic! The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our short stay. I really wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the woods. To top off our great experience at Moose Landing, we got to see a full-grown moose walking right next to the cabin! We hope to be back in the future.

Our group of five were impressed with the accommodations, view, and extraordinary willingness of the host to accommodate our needs. In spite of a few quirks (limited parking, storage containers for leftover food, or absence of laundry soap, and a few minor cleaning misses—coffee pot that wasn’t emptied/cleaned to empties left at the hot tub), which were either due to property limitations, visiter oversight/preparedness, or cleaning crew oversights, we weren’t dismayed or put off, and ALL OF US THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY and would be MORE THAN WILLING to travel the challenging road to stay again.

Amazing beautiful location. The small creek allowed for us to many wildlife throughout our stay! Very private and quiet location. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Stephen was wonderful, answering many questions we had before we even arrived. I have been to many AirBnB's and have never had a better experience communicating with the owner. He also includes a very helpful guidebook providing answers to pretty much any question you might have about the house and the surroundings. The A-frame house was rustic, immaculate, and cozy. Despite it's remote location, it was easy to find thanks to Stephen's directions, and if that's what you are looking for, this is the place to be. A++

This is a fantastic mountain home with a million dollar view. we rank it in the top 2 rentals we've ever stayed at and it might be #1. The owners are very friendly and responsive. The home is a 5 minute drive from a fantastic hike to St. Mary's glacier and 20 minutes from Miner st. in Idaho Springs where you will find great food and drink in a historic gold mining town. Finish your day's on the back deck in the hot top viewing blue sky mountain..🤩 You will love this place.

What a welcoming and enjoyable cabin, with lots of space and everything you could want supplied! We loved the peaceful setting and found the beds very comfortable. Conveniently located near our family members, and a good location for visiting all the destinations we wanted to get to. Our highest recommendation!

It was a lovely experience. Everything was wonderful and the host had the best recommendations and made the best little booklet. They made everything straightforward. 100% would love to come back.

Nice cozy place! The guide book was very thoughtful, full of ideas with descriptions and reviews. We loved the fireplace, the trail up the road and the wildlife.

Our stay at Donna's was great. The location was convenient to many trails and not too far from Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin was in a quiet area, as described and reflected in the pictures. It included all the amenities we needed during our stay. Everything met or exceeded our expectations, would definitely stay again.

Jane was an amazingly kinda and responsive host. Her quaint property was just like the pictures and was a perfect little getaway that was both private but close to activities. Plus lots of wonderful amenities that we weren’t expecting from an air bnb.

We had a great stay at Tam’s place. The view is incredible and the home is well equipped. Great communication. Highly recommend!

Our family had an amazing stay here! Photos do not do the outside justice and we loved being able to catch fish right in the backyard ! The house was incredibly peaceful and private but also only a 4 min drive to town for coffee, restaurants and shopping. Also tons to do in every direction and host had great recommendations and was incredibly responsive. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Airbnb! The view of the mountains was stunning and truly set the tone for the peaceful, nature filled getaway we were looking for. The house was cozy and gave the perfect mountain vibes. We loved the outdoors space. There were several decks and patios. The hot tub was a huge bonus and became part of our daily routine. Derek was an outstanding host. He was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond when we had questions.

Perfectly located little cabin, all the hot spot attractions we visited were just over an hour away. If we return we would stay here again!

Wow, what a beautiful and perfectly appointed cabin!Looked just like the photos. We enjoyed making meals on the grill and in the kitchen that had everything we needed, use of the fire pit for s’mores, a dip in the hot tub after long days of hiking, access to comfortable blankets for the sofas by the fireplace and so much more. Highly recommend this property! Thank you to the hosts!
