House vacation rentals in Gilpin County

We had an extended family of 4 adults and 3 children on our stay - this is one of the nicest Airbnb homes we have stayed in. The home is VERY NICE! It is spacious and comfortable, the neighborhood is also very nice, it is quiet and felt very safe. There is a walking trail through the neighborhood that we enjoyed with a playground nearby. The location was a short drive to Denver, Boulder and Golden. There is a grocery store, Starbucks and a few restaurants close by. The community pool was a short drive away. Brandon was very responsive when we had any questions. We enjoyed our stay in Arvada very much!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking mountain views and well-appointed house. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless experience, providing clear instructions and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Whether we were relaxing in the hot tub, sitting by the fireplace, or skiing the nearby trails, every moment was perfect. We had a amazing stay here at Winter Park. We had 11 family members and didn't feel like we were right ontop of each other with its 3 stories and its open concept. The house had every amenitie that we needed plus some. The views are spectacular in this home which was a added bonus. The house was immaculate upon arrival it looked like nobody had ever lived in it. Tim was very responsive to any questions we had and made staying there just so easy! You wont regret booking this house!!

We loved Aaron and Katie’s home! Their home was beautiful and the views were breathtaking! It was a great place to stay with lots of kids! Their management texted us to check in on us and were very helpful with everything we needed!!

Elizabeth was super responsive and the area was beautiful. We encountered some minor issues with the community center but Elizabeth was super responsive and communicative to help remedy. The free ear plugs were a nice touch and needed. Would recommend staying here!

Celebrated a friends 28th birthday party at the cabin, was the perfect spot for a getaway !

Jeff’s home was beautiful! My husband and I stayed with our 2 children in their 20’s and our dog. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed. Lots of casinos in downtown Black Hawk but we preferred going into nearby Golden. We enjoyed hiking trails close by and others in Rocky Mountain National Park. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We absolutely loved staying at Ryan’s house. The location is fantastic - it’s private, in a beautiful part of the woods, right across from a peaceful lake and just down the road from some fantastic hiking/running/biking as well as driving distance to Black Hawk and Nederland, The house itself is really well laid out and well-appointed. Especially loved the hot tub at night looking at the stars, Lastly, Ryan was an excellent host. He was extremely communicative, flexible in timing and thoughtful. He even put out something special for my wife’s birthday. We plan to return!

What an amazing place!! Definitely off the beaten path, but couldn’t ask for a more stunning set of views, sunrises, sunsets, and serene surroundings. Wanted to book a private mountain cabin, got everything we wanted and more. The deck is great, the pellet stove is iconic, and the kitchen is great. Truly enjoyed every bit of this trip. Pretty close to town for food, gas, and groceries. Very comfortable furniture and bedding. Possibly the best morning coffee drinking spot I’ve ever stayed at.

We really enjoyed our time at this peaceful cabin. We had 4 adults and a toddler and the space was perfect for us. The house was clean and had everything we needed, and we also spent a lot of time in the beautiful backyard. It was removed from everything but still close enough to activities and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

We loved the home! Had a wonderful time with my parents, siblings & our children. The only issue was the internet service was very weak, so it made it hard to watch the news, sports or a movie.

Great stay here with siblings. Nice access to hikes, good common spaces, responsive host. The top floor is not available to rent which slightly limited views but plenty of space without that floor. Would stay again.

this place was a great home base for a visit to Boulder and to meet family from the Denver area. Great views from the porch and we enjoyed our stay!

My husband, stepdaughter and I had an amazing week stay at Scott’s Casita!! The Casita was immaculately clean and had all the fine essentials. Scott’s artistic details throughout the house are amazing. The master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the million dollar view from the bed was unbeatable! The view could also be seen from the shower and bathtub. The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of hiking. We would definitely stay at Scott’s place again. We highly recommend staying here.

We had a delightful time at the Glacier House. Clear instructions were left for easy entry, and a binder of helpful information was left inside. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again if returning to the area.

This is a charming historic property full of interesting antiques and lots of character - just what we were looking for. The caretaker Bob called me the day before and gave me clear instructions on how to get there and where to park, and showed us around the house when we arrived. Slept great and we had so much to talk about with all the interesting furnishings. We had plenty of room to spread out and everyone had their own bathroom which was great. Loved the charm!

My fiancé and our friends stayed here for the weekend to go skiing at Loveland Ski Resort. House was a great location to the resort. House was fully stocked with everything you would need. We all loved our stay and would stay again. Only negative I would say is the beds and pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but besides that it was a perfect stay!

We did have a problem with the water quality as they’re on a cistern system, but they responded quickly to our concerns and sent a plumber immediately after our stay. I hope this was a "one-off" event as the house was lovely. The house was extremely comfortable. The large windows provide spectacular views, the kitchen was stocked with essentials and the appliances are new, the furniture was comfortable and all the spaces were arranged nicely. They could have a larger couch in the basement so a group can watch a movie; the house sleeps many people! The dog run is a bonus! It definitely provided us the peaceful getaway we were looking for. We enjoyed hiking at Golden Gate Canyon state park and pizza at Beau Jo’s in Idaho Springs. Lots to explore in and around Central City and Black Hawk, but the house itself was relaxing just to hang out in and was what we were looking for!

5 stars!! We stayed here for a girl’s trip and it was amazing! Very peaceful, beautiful views, and the house has absolutely everything you could need. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, beds were comfy and clean, and all the amenities were exactly as listed. The hot tub was a great cap to each night. This house is perfect for small-medium sized groups who want to hang out together in the house, while remaining in close enough proximity to many cute mountain towns. The house has ample space, great natural light, and is very peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain home. The house was incredibly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—close to local spots to eat in Empire, and just a short drive to Loveland Ski Area, Georgetown, and Idaho Springs. It was so quiet and serene, and sitting in the hot tub overlooking the creek was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Linda was very communicative and made the check-in process super easy. Overall, a peaceful mountain retreat with great access to everything you need nearby. Highly recommend!
