We had a great time at the house with our kid and friends visiting from abroad. The house is very modern and spacious. The view is fantastic. We had everything we needed for a chill long weekend. Per Inge replied all our messages very fast. We appreciated flexibility with check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay at this property again.

We were allowed to stay in John-Olav's mountain hut for a week and absolutely enjoyed the time despite the bad weather. From the cottage, you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the ski area opposite. The best way to enjoy the view is in the modern hot tub on the terrace. The cottage itself is super equipped and we theoretically didn't need to bring anything. In the kitchen, we only missed a scale for baking. Communication with John-Olav was smooth and straightforward at all times, and we received an answer to any questions within a very short time. John-Olav was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, the cottage was a very great first experience on Airbnb and we would want to return anytime.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house with a perfect view over the mountains, truly breathtaking! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and beautiful nature.

Shortly before arrival, all useful information, such as key box, sauna and pool instructions, etc. came in the travel guide. We had an amazing stay with the family! The home was clean, tidy and well maintained. The area was quiet and child friendly, and at the same time just a short drive away from several exciting attractions. Rita was welcoming and responded quickly to inquiries. Really enjoyed and can definitely recommend the place further.

Beautiful views. Quiet location. Lots of privacy. Cozy decor. It was easy that there was a charging station where you can fully charge the car for a reasonable fee. Child friendly and fun toys.

very nice accommodation, the children enjoyed all the games! very well located for the Skaravennet . Even with little snow, the snowy plateaus a little higher up allowed for beautiful ski rides. Very beautiful scenery. Very good location to go to Bergen by train.

What a small, beautiful gem by the river. The cottage absolutely sweetened our last stop of our tour and surprised us. We thought it was so much nicer than the pictures showed. Everything is very well maintained, from the garden, boat to kitchen and bathroom. It was impressively clean and looked like first occupancy. Everything you need has been thought of: new candles, dishwashing tabs, new dishwashing sponge, etc. We had experienced this differently before. But in particular, Eirin and Rolf provided the house with loving details, which we were very happy about. There were fresh flowers on the table, the heaters were turned on beforehand and we could spend the evening comfortably by candlelight. We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Eirin and Rolf. It was nice to meet you. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great stay with our dogs, they loved the fully fenced garden. Beautiful surroundings, great hiking opportunities for all levels. Would visit again!

Amazing cabin with high standard and all amenities. The view is simply lovely and we have had a lot of fun during our stay. The cabin is tastefully decorated, well equipped and offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was both nice and professional, and the whole experience has been impeccable. Highly recommend – we would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi and Kristoffers beautiful cabin. Exquisite location with fabulous views, with great walking paths in close vicinity. They were fantastic hosts and responded immediately to all of our enquiries. We particularly loved the design and layout of the cabin, and felt very comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. We prepared big meals, and really made good use of they're kitchen (an italian in tow)... It should be noted that if you are having big meals be prepared to refill the water tank. For washing up and of course shower purposes. For us this added an extra charm and we really didn't mind refilling at the well just on the doorstep. My daughter loved assisting with the buckets. We had a fabulous 4 day break and found the cabin and it's amenities all very satisfying. As 3 adults, a labrador and a 5 year old, it really did tick all the boxes. Why are eager to return in future!

The house has a nice modern decor and through the many windows a beautiful view over the mountains . It has a cozy wood stove and the kitchen has all the comforts. We had a great week. Andreas and Ida respond very quickly to questions and are very thoughtful and helpful. I would recommend everyone to rent their lovely cabin in the mountains.

We have had a very nice stay at the airbnb which is very cosy. The balcony with the view is very relaxing and the house is well equipped. It is located not far from the moutains and we can access to very beautiful areas with a car. I highly recommend!

Super cosy cabin with a spectacular view over the lake below. Super location for walking and biking. When you are outside on the terrace you hear the road below a bit during the day and sometimes a train, but that didn't bother us. The summer road to the cabin is a bit of an adventure on it's own if you are not used to driving on gravel roads. Christian is a super host, very responsive to any questions we had. Very recommended!

Tanja clearly loves this home. It is styled perfectly and the attetion to detail is beautiful. It has the feel of a 5* hotel with everything you need provided. Tanja is an amazing host. I would love to visit again.

We (3 adults, 2 children) spent a week in February in Tea's vacation home. And what can I say, it was just wonderful! The house was cozy, clean and very well heated with the stove. There was actually nothing left to be desired. A kettle or tea kettle was the only thing we missed a bit. But then the tea water was just heated in the pot. The beds were very comfortable and there were even two sleds for sledding. We had a lot of fun on the cross-country ski trails around the house and the steep toboggan run, which was only a three-minute walk away. The kids also loved the board games and the DVD selection. We would have liked to have stayed another week to enjoy the scenery, snow and magnificent views of the mountains and sunrises and sunsets. Thank you for the great accommodation, the smooth process and the nice communication, dear Tea!

Everything was perfect! The accommodation is very nice, clean, well decorated, warm. The surroundings are beautiful and absolute calm. We had a dream stay there. Birgit is adorable and very responsive, we'll be back with great pleasure.

A cozy hut with a wonderfull view over the lake. We stayed in wintertime (early february) and had no issues getting to the cabin by crossing the frozen lake by ski, after arriving by train in hagastol (3km). So it is also possible to get to the cabin by public transport and ski as long as the lake is frozen and safe to cross. We had many options for crosscountry skiing on the lake and up the mountains. If you need marked trails for orientation, it would be better to come when winterseason has started (end of february). We visited Monsbunuten and had an incredible view over the hardangervidda nationalpark. The cabin is very spacious. It can be heated by electricity and woodstove. We felt home ammediatly. We found a wonderfull place to rest and reset. We can recommend this place for everyone who seeks out a calm and quiet place in nature with the opportunity to explore the lake and fjäll region around it.

What a gorgeous spot! This cabin had the most peaceful and beautiful views we have ever experienced at an AirBnB. The home is so relaxing and and enjoyable place for our family to enjoy Valdres together. Rooms were comfortable, bathrooms were lovely and the fireplace with the view of fjords/mountains was breathtaking! Hosts were kind and responsive to our needs. Will stay here again if we are able to return.
