The apartment is located in a street with great bars, restaurants and café’s which makes it great to explore the city by foot. It’s very quiet and has spectacular views of Table Mountain & Lion’s Head (from your bed). We have been living in Cape Town for more than 10 years and would love to share a list of our favourite shops, restaurants, bars and café’s.Ciska also does private, customized day-trips (up to 4 persons). It could be a trip around the Cape Peninsula, Winelands or City & Township tours. Please inquire well in advance. This central neighbourhood has a trendy, vibrant air to it, and the street is full of great restaurants, cafes, and bars. It's close to the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Company Gardens, Camps Bay, and many other points of interest. Uber taxi’s are often lined up outside the apartment - so you really don’t need a rental car. But if you have a car there is off street parking. For a stay longer than 7 nights we request that you make use of our cleaning lady’s services and pay her R350 in cash to do a basic clean of the apartment. The square is one of the nicest downtown and it is in an heritage area. The house is also very secure, with alarm, secure gates etc. Guests are allowed to smoke on the terrace, not inside the loft. Guests have exclusive access to all areas of the main house I do not live in the property but I am available when needed The area is most central to all of Cape Town, set amid very hip and historic spots. The neighborhood is home to a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The square in front of the house has ample free public parking available for cars. Uber is the quickest, most convenient and affordable way to get around. The nearest hop on, hop off bus stop is 150m from the house. For public transport the nearest MyCity bus stop is 400m from the house. Cleaning and laundry service is available by arrangement The area is most central to all of Cape Town, set amid very hip and historic spots. The neighborhood is home to a large number of restaurants, cafes, and shops.
