Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Charming 19th century stone mazet, classified 3*** located quietly in the small medieval village of Moussac. Built high up, you will have stunning views of the Gardon and maximum sunshine! In a 10-minute walk, you will have reached the square where the bakery for croissants in the morning and other small shops await you. Want to move around? Ideally located, you can choose between Uzès 20 minutes away, Nîmes 30 minutes away, the beaches an hour away and the Cévennes half an hour away.

Its atypical, cozy, intimate decoration is an invitation to travel in the image of the family of traveling artists, owner of the place. Duplex bathroom, small swimming pool among the vineyards, pretty land where olive and oak trees grow. Calm, luxury and pleasure await you at the gates of the Cévennes and Anduze. Welcome!

The lucky escape

In the heart of the forest, in a 7000 m2 fenced property, 10 minutes from the highway exits of the cities of Orange and Bollène, you will find calm and serenity. Hikers, cyclists, epicureans, nature lovers, all you have to do is go through the gate to access your favorite activities. The accommodation is fully equipped: - Towels and sheets - Nespresso Machine - Teapot - Toaster - Smart TV - Terrace barbecue The pool is accessible from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2 km from Lake Salagou, in the center of the small hamlet of Mas Audran, a recently renovated country stone house. Peaceful hamlet without cars on the side of the mountain protected from the north wind or its micro climate in the middle of agaves and orange trees, you can walk to the lake in 15 minutes by road or by a path to reach the wild coast of Lake Salagou. The ruffe, (red sand) typical landscapes of Salagou will amaze you in all seasons.

Thébaïde, with its unique atmosphere, will take you on a journey through time in the Dourbie gorges. Through our vernacular sheepfold, you will find all the sweetness of life and the authenticity of the Cévennes.

Old Farmhouse with pool & garden

This farmhouse from 1610, 1 minute away from Sommières by car. You will be in a peaceful setting with no street noise and a 9x4m pool to cool yourself on hot summer days. The garden goes down to the river where one can go fishing. From certain spots you can see the Chapelle Saint Julien from the XIth century as well as the château de Sommières. There is a brasero and a pizza oven outside to enjoy time together outside.
