Monthly Rentals in Frye Island

The Broken Compass is the perfect little get away! We loved sitting down by the fire pit and having our meals on the great screened in porch out front. The beds were comfortable, the home is well decorated and free of clutter, and they had everything we needed to cook 3 meals a day. Had a slight issue at check in, but John was super responsive and proactive in helping us out and the rest of the trip was excellent. We absolutely will come back!

Walter’s place is one of our favorite places for my boyfriend and I to say. This was our second time staying and we had the most wonderful time!! It is such a nice place that we chose to have a staycation there! The Good Life Market below us was delicious and always had what we needed. So good, we bought food to take home with us, too. We stayed in while it snowed and just enjoyed each others company in the comfort of the loft. Absolutely hoping to stay here again, thank you so much for having us!!! Walter is the most wonderful host!!

I’ve been going to Frye Island ME for close to 50 years; as a guest, a renter, then as an owner (for 20 years) and now as a renter again. It is challenging to find “nice” rental properties as many of the rentals are older cottages and the pictures are not representative of their current condition. Austin’s cottage is very new and as such it is just as the pictures show; it is very clean and well cared for! It’s perfect for a family of 6.
