Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in French Broad River

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve been in! Corinne was such a fantastic host. She gave us lots of great recommendations for the surrounding area and was so easy to communicate with. Her home was cozy and it was such a delight to sit on the back porch in the mornings, with the beautiful view of the forest. Would come back for sure.

Beautifully updated, so comfortable, and very convenient. We came for a horse show and the short drive was perfect after long days at the show. The cottage was charming, well appointed, and felt very much like home as soon as we walked in. Monica was an excellent host, very responsive and communicative. We look forward to making this our home away from home each time we visit Tryon!

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Hill Farm, great views and loved all the nature and its sounds. Very peaceful. Great deck area and porch for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. The grandkids also loved it! The kitchen was great ! They had everything you could need. Interesting books and photos everywhere. Be sure you have what you need, grocery store is 20 minutes. TV’s were in 2 of the bedrooms, I do wish they had a common area with a TV. We did not find any instructions on what was needed from us as far as checking out, I hope we left things acceptable.

What a great spot. Tucked away, at almost the top of a mountain. Hot tub was great, and the home was very cozy. No A/C, but 3500ft of elevation makes up for it. Heed the 4wd warning. 95% of people won’t make it up in their Altima. And if you do, you’ll make a huge mess of the driveway. It is a minimally maintained gravel and rock drive. The house is worth the trip. Will be coming back.

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful!! Melony was very thorough and had great instructions! Definitely recommend to everyone!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Inside is absolutely stunning and the feel of a mountain home. We had a larger group and having 3 full bathrooms, one on each floor was definitely nice. We would love to stay again!

We booked same day for a 1 night stay and it was a nice place for what we needed. The fenced dog park area was great for our two dogs. It’s not the fenced in area in the front of the entrance, it’s actually up the hill to the left. We didn’t see the signs at first. It’s pretty large! One of the gates has shifted and small dogs can easily get out so we used a log to block it. Just fyi! We could never get the WiFi to work. They didn’t say which network to join. The host replied once to my question but my follow up question was right after 9pm so they never responded and we. It seems they do not check messages or booking requests unless it’s between the hours of 1pm-9pm. We originally sent our request at 11am and it wasn’t accepted til after 1pm. I understand they have business hours but it made several things tricky. Also we never got any checkout instructions. I do think the price was a bit high. But it was the only place we could find in short notice! We’d stay again if needed.

We loved our stay here! It’s was a beautiful place to getaway and yet still be close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved the little cottage and Lemuel was an amazing host. He was super helpful and friendly and very responsive. This place is a must book for the price and location! Super easy to find as well! We would love to come back so time for sure!

My husband and I and our 2 pups had a wonderful stay at Bev’s! It was like staying with family. Our pups had a large fenced in yard to enjoy and we enjoyed the beautiful deck overlooking the meadow. Bev is an excellent hostess and is now a dear friend.

Very easy to find, host was present at check in, the bed was very comfortable, hot shower, cozy fireplace, yummy breakfast, very friendly staff!

Our hosts were very accommodating! Our continental breakfast was tasty & fresh! Such a beautiful, quiet, relaxing front porch. We really enjoyed sitting outside & peacefully watching the birds.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The decor was just beautiful. Everything we needed was there, and Diana was willing to do whatever we needed. She was also so friendly. We felt so much at home there. We hope to return again.

We stayed at the Creekside Inn for one night and felt very welcomed and comfortable. Mike greeted us in person and gave us a detailed house tour. Cathy gave us local recommendations and cooked us a delicious breakfast. The view from the house is one of a kind. The house and the room looked exactly like in the photos. Mike was always responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely go back again!

Staying with Charles and Diane was more than just a getaway — it felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home. From the start, they made it clear: this is your home while you’re here. Diane is incredibly kind — she made sure we were well-fed, gave us full access to the kitchen, and never let us lift a finger. Charles’s knowledge of the Smoky Mountains was invaluable. He guided us to serene hikes away from crowds and even captured beautiful moments of my partner and me that we’ll always treasure. And the food — unforgettable. Charles’s quiche alone is worth the trip, and yes, the pancakes are orange-infused and absolutely perfect. Their warmth, care, and attention to every little detail made this one of the most meaningful travel experiences we’ve had. We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and new friends. Can’t wait to return.

Friendly host, luxury linens, and the most beautiful surroundings!! This place was awesome. My husband and I arrived late on Christmas night around 9pm. I mentioned to TJ how we weren’t able to find anywhere open to eat (because of Christmas) and TJ (the innkeeper) ended up making us 2 turkey sandwiches for dinner!! Talk about hospitality. We stayed in the Riverside Suite and the linens were AMAZING. I was not expecting that but the sheets were ultra soft as well as the towels and the mattress was so comfy. Literally checked the brand to buy the towels for my house. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after hiking all day and our pup enjoyed every minute. I was grateful to get to chat with TJ and the story behind the inn and how he has put his heart in soul into that place. You can feel that spirit and love throughout the whole property. We will definitely be back!!

Our son was getting married nearby, so the Hunt House was home base for our side of the family. One night we had a cookout using the big Blackstone in the garage and the three picnic tables in the spacious side yard. It is a safe spot for kids to run around and climb the giant tree with branches close to the ground. Perfect. Inside, the kitchen is well-equipped, and unlike most places, there are plenty of good hangers in the closets and extra necessities, too. The living room furniture could be more comfortable, but we’ve stayed at the Hunt House several times and love it there.

The host is courteous and responsive. The location looks just like the photos. There is a lot to do inside of the home. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

We had a wonderful three night stay!! Syresa had all the thoughtful touches—night lights, extra pillows, linens, toiletries. We all slept great—mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. The bedroom and bath had a lot of room to move around. There were a lot of options for staying in at the farm. There is a huge wraparound porch with lots of sitting areas. The farm was easily accessible to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge area or Gaitlinburg—both just minutes away but out of all the hustle and bustle of staying at a hotel. Syresa shared places for dinner and other activities for venturing out. The continental breakfast was ample and delicious. Hosts were friendly and made you feel right at home. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family! Come and stay. You won’t be disappointed!

We have stayed at Eliza and Brad’s place several times this past year. It’s been like our home away from home—it has everything we need, is super comfortable and well-equipped, and very thoughtfully decorated. We really appreciate the extra effort these folks make to ensure their guests feel at home. If it were an option we would give them 10 stars! Thank you Eliza and Brad!

Elizabeth's place was exactly how it was described on the website. She even greeted us outside, when we arrived, and made us feel right at home! This B&B is close to the Dupont Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway which was close to our day trip hiking destinations. Downtown Asheville and Brevard are also close by so there's plenty to do. Or if you want to sit and relax on their back porch and read a book that option is also available. We were so comfortable in their home it felt like visiting a long lost friend. Both Jim and Elizabeth had great stories to tell and also gave us a mini concert in their living room. Her weekend breakfasts were outstanding and she's a fantastic cook! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in this area. We will definitely be back.

The Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast is something out of a movie! From the instructions on arrival, hassle-free entry to the INN and our room, the way the bed slept, great hot water pressure, to the delicious breakfast that was served to us, our stay was just perfect! I stayed in the Cozy Cabin room for one night and it was what I needed. The whole Inn's atmosphere was welcoming, cozy, and very unique with character. John was super helpful and welcoming. The ladies that served us breakfast were very kind and hospitable as well. This will always be the first place I look to book when I visit Blue Ridge again.

Our stay was perfect! The space was inviting, incredibly clean and well maintained. It is a perfect cozy spot for a winter getaway but I would also love to visit any other time of year. Robin’s Nest is at the top of our list when we return to Asheville.

Reeni is such a sweet lady! She is very responsive and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The place was squeaky clean and beautifully decorated. A very large handicap accessible unit with everything you need for a great stay in the area. Look forward to staying with her next time we are in the area!

Breakfast was awesome. Shower and claw foot bathtub were very nice! Bed was super comfy. Nice little cabin!
