Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Forster

We had a great week away with our grown up kids and partners. Plus our family dog. Everyone had a great holiday. Thanks again.

It’s a fantastic stay. Beautiful Lakehouse. Great for a family of 4. Got plenty to do at the premises, sauna by the lakeside, kayaking at Cooma Bay and cooking in the beautiful kitchen with the freshly picked vegetables from the garden. Also, there are two lovely doggies, Matilda and Bella checked us in and out. Amazing host!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Ben & Becky's place. We had planned some activities over the weekend but ended up just staying at the property as it was so peaceful and serene and had everything we needed to enjoy a very relaxing weekend. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. I guess the the only part that we didn't like was leaving 😞. Many thanks Bev until next time 😊

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un environnement agréable et calme .Les plages accessibles à pieds sont magnifiques et il y a plein de belles balades à pieds à faire autour . La pièce de vie était très agréable ainsi que la terrasse . La cuisine était très bien équipée. La literie était bonne . Il est important de noter qu’il y a 32 marches à gravir pour atteindre la pièce de vie . Par ailleurs il peut être problématique de venir avec des enfants de moins de 10 ans car les chambres sont séparées de la pièce de vie par un escalier extérieur et les portes de chambres donnent sur une terrasse extérieure … De même pour l’espace douches et wc qui est semi-extérieur. Mais Luncinda répond aux messages rapidement et est très sympathique.

Myself, partner, toddler, parents, and brother and SIL and dogs stayed over the long weekend, we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful location! The house was big and comfortable and we made use of the bbq, kitchen, and fire place. Lovely view of the ocean across the road, and walked to the local beaches. Only a short drive into town, and plenty of street parking at the house. We would stay here again in the future

Beautiful big apartment. Reminded me a bit of an old Queenslander with mod cons. Lots of charm. Wish we could of stayed longer.

Perfect location and great amount of room for 10 people.

The lake cabin is such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay, with direct access to a lovely walking trail. Be aware there will be no service getting there so keep an eye out for the sign, and be ready to dodge a LOT of potholes on the roads. We had a lovely stay, Phillippa was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area Thank you!

We loved the Bond House apartment. Despite the unusual access across the park it was well worth it once inside. Eclectic stylishly furnished spacious apartment well located for East Newcastle. A well stocked larder and great laundry space if you need it. Bathrooms very modern with heated towel rails and big fluffy towels! Beds very comfy too

Very happy with our stay at Blueys Beach. Dean was very communicative and we felt we could reach out to him if there were any concerns. We would definitely like to return for another visit.

My friends and I had a lovely time at Nikki’s home. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out over the resort. Perfect location to visit wineries in the area!

We really enjoyed our weekend at this apartment – it had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. The decor was modern and cosy, and the place was super clean. We loved how close it was to the Honeysuckle foreshore and Darby Street – perfect for dinners and a morning coffee run. The rooftop area was a lovely bonus too. The host made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Would happily come back next time we're in Newcastle!

This was a very quiet and relaxing few days. Lorraine's apartment is spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the country outlook from the verandah each evening sipping a wine at sunset. The bed is very comfortable and the cooking equipment was all that we needed. It was warm during our stay and there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom, however, the ceiling fans in both rooms helped as did the evening breeze. Had it been in the winter months we would have been delighted to use the cozy wood fire. Next time maybe! We highly recommend this listing to others looking for a quiet and comfortable break.

My family and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at our villa. The views of the mountain ranges were absolutely stunning! Weekenda team were very helpful throughout our stay. Definitely book this place in the future. SS 😊

We had a great time!

This was a last minute find for us but it was just amazing. There were 3 ensuites and 1 main bathroom which made the stay for 4 of us couples with kids amazing. The living space was huge with a very comfortable couch, I only wish the TV was a bit bigger. The outdoor areas are well equipped with sufficient seating and spots to relax and enjoy. The house was clean however had a few cobwebs underneath dining chairs and some really big spiders roaming about but other than that it was spotless.

Matt’s place was incredible. We stayed there for 2 nights for a girls weekend getaway. We loved the property so much that we skipped some of our scheduled wine tastings to sit around the cozy fireplace, watch the spectacular sunsets and enjoy the 360 degree views from every angle. This property has everything you could need, including very clearly labeled instructions for how to use the various appliances/speakers/fireplace etc. The kitchen is completely stocked, there’s no shortage of cleaning supplies, firewood, tea, coffee, and everything you need to make your stay a memorable and seamless one. Matt was very responsive, helpful, and a joy to communicate with. We will definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend Among The Vines more highly. If I could give this more than five stars, I would. Thank you so much, Matt!

Gorgeous spot for a getaway from the city. Close to everything in the Hunter, but well away from everything and everyone. Super easy to find and get there, check-in/out was a breeze. All the information you need is provided. Great amenities especially in the kitchen. Accomodation is a beautiful space indoors and out. Amazing afternoon walks around the property. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
