Beachfront vacation rentals in Floresta

My family and I stayed at Andrea’s house for four nights. This is one of those hidden gems that makes you truly happy when you find it. Located in a beautiful, quiet little fishing village, the house sits right by the stunning, clear sea. The peace, the view, waking up every morning with a cappuccino at the local coffee spot, the lady from the supermarket, the wedding couples getting photographed at the harbor every day, the evening beer at the same coffee place, the fish market where you can get fresh fish daily — it’s all pure joy. I’d love to come back for a week of doing absolutely nothing and just enjoying it all. The house is a lovely and cozy place. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen could use a little extra love (cleaning), but that is easily outweighed by the authentic and pure feeling you get in beautiful Pozzillo. Thank you, Andrea, for your hospitality!

We came to spend two nights with my spouse at Katerina and Andrea's and the welcome was great, very nice hosts and good tips. We met several times and they always had a kind word and recommendations. Very well located apartment and superb view from the terrace. We recommend!

The drive down toward the water is in a small alley, get a small car. We were able to find a parking spot every day. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you need. Easy walk to town for restaurants., there is a pathway along the water and rocks. Our host was responsive and friendly. Access to the water with stairs to the rocks. Quiet surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

The access to the accommodation was a bit surprising at the end of May as you have to drive through a small stream to get to the end of the road. The entrance to the free underground garage is also a bit bumpy and it is recommended to unload the car beforehand at the apartment if it does not have high tires. But once you arrive, the accommodation is really impeccable with a beautiful view of the sea. You can hear the sea rushing at night and can sleep with the window open without hesitation. You can also get to the beach directly from the apartment via a small staircase. The place was one of the cleanest I've ever experienced. The unfortunately often neglected mocha pot for making coffee was really clean. You can easily reach all public transport as well as small bakeries and shops on foot. Since you can use a free parking space, excursions by car are always easy. The place is really highly recommended.

Concetta was very engaged since we made the reservation. she helped us plan our visit to Naxos and Taormino. She was very accommodating with our travel timing. Her recommendations for boat rental, local travel, restaurants,... were all spot on we enjoyed all of them. She even stopped by to touch base, help us with our stay, and the travels. Her place is very conveniently located to all the activities,stores and public transport.

Emanuela is a great host! The apartment is a gem in a beautiful village. The early morning sunrise from the balcony facing the sea is stunning! I feel at home the moment we stepped in to the apartment. Highly recommended!

Diego was the best host ever! He welcomed us personally and gave us all the instructions we needed to enjoy our stay. He’s also an experienced tour operator and gave us fantastic tips on what to do, where to eat, and more. He even helped us organize an unforgettable excursion to Mount Etna. The house is clean, comfortable, and in a great location—just steps away from the sea. We use Airbnb regularly, and Diego is definitely the best hosts we’ve had!

We had everything we needed for our stay at Giovanni's place, fully equipped kitchen, clean and big apartment. The place is ideal if you want to escape the crowds. And Giovanni is a welcoming host.

We had a nice time at Melina's place as a group of friends, of 3 people. We were able to reach the address easily by rental car. Without a car and in hot temperatures, the steep ascent/descent is certainly a bit challenging. We had a very early flight and were even able to get into the apartment much earlier thanks to Melina's flexibility. It would be important to mention that Melina really only speaks Italian and the check-in was a bit quick, but we understood basic information thanks to English notes. The apartment is a little out of the ordinary but fine and we got along well. Melina was always quickly available for questions and sent us a few addresses for restaurants and excursion destinations at the beginning. When checking out independently, it should be noted that the entrance gate has to be opened with the key beforehand, we had locked ourselves in the yard in the early morning hours.

A place with a view. Outstanding view over the ocean, rent the apartment for that! The area is wild , with rocks into the ocean. Lovely place to bath, but it takes a little strength to come the ocean and some stairs to walk. Out of the season is there not many other people.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you will need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

What a wonderful place. Lovely quiet stay. View out of this world .. saw Mt Etna erupt! Host was lovely, friendly and very helpful. Access to beach simple. Beach is stunning. A gorgeous stay. Exactly what we wanted and needed. Thankyou so much. Xox

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

We had a wonderful week family vacation over Easter in this fantastic vacation home. The house is located right by the sea and offers a breathtaking view – simply spectacular! It was particularly nice to be able to observe the volcanic eruption through the binoculars provided – an unforgettable experience. The house itself is old and rustic, full of charm. It is quiet, perfect for relaxing. Two gates secure the entrance, we felt safe at all times. The direct access to the sea was an absolute highlight for us, as were the outdoor shower and the cozy sun loungers. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We would also like to emphasize the warm contact with our host Giovanni, who was always friendly and available to us for questions. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with delicious tartlets – very lovingly. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful holiday at Salvatore’s place – the location is truly beautiful, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The scenery is stunning, and the surrounding area offers a delightful experience with lovely restaurants and local services. The atmosphere is warm, and the welcome was genuinely heartfelt; I felt at home right away. Salvatore is a thoughtful and kind host who does his best to ensure guests feel comfortable. I also received help with some practical arrangements that we had agreed on in advance. I’ll carry fond memories of the unique charm and warmth of this place. I stayed at the apartment for quite some time (~a month) and can confirm it is a lovely space to stay in! True to the listing - you have (almost) everything you need, and the hosts live right downstairs if you do end up needing anything. The view from both balconies is beautiful, with areas with both shade and sun and plenty of seating. The immediate surroundings are fairly quiet, although I admit I stayed there before the high season. There's a limited amount of shops/restaurants in quick walking distance - there is much more on offer in the city. Anything in the center of Giarre/Riposto is at least a 25/30 min walk away, but most of that is along the lovely seaside! I don't drive myself, but it seems it is a much easier way to get around both the town/the island. The train station is pretty well connected though - about 20 minutes to either Catania or Taormina. All in all, I am happy to have been hosted by Orazio & Giusy - very kind and helpful hosts to go with a very nice apartment
