Family-friendly vacation rentals in Flathead Lake

We really enjoyed The Roost. Had 10 of us and there was plenty of room. Nice Front yard to play frisbee or throw a football, but bring it with you. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub in the early mornings or evenings after a hike. The place served our needs very well and we would definitely stay there again.

We've been coming to Whitefish for several years for a father/son ski trip. All things considered(amenities, proximity to home again trail, price, quality/cleanliness) this ranked as the best home we've stayed in yet. This might be one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! You can tell Dawn has exceptional attention to detail and went the extra mile to make sure her home had everything we could need. We loved having a true ski in/out lodging and the hot tub next to the slope was an extra treat! The beds were comfortable and everything worked as expected. The 5 of us had plenty of room to gather and also felt like we had our own space. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with quality products and ingredients. No notes! We'll be back!

Beautiful cabin home near Columbia Falls. Peaceful and beautiful views from the back deck. Very responsive owners and communication was excellent. Quaint and exactly what we were expecting for our trip. Would love to book again on our next visit!

This place is cozy and comfortable. We had 6 adults and 1 child, and we were able to find our own area when needed. The ski in ski out is perfect with easy access and return. The ski and boot storage area in the condo made it very handy to store our equipment out of the way. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed, plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. We used the deck, the grill and the wood burning fireplace. We used the hot tube every day, it is large enough for at least 6 people. The owner is very responsive and professional. There are two places to eat and have cocktails, and a small market within walking distance. The town of Whitefish has several nice restaurants along with some cool (dive) old bars and restaurants. The shopping in Whitefish is OK. Everyone in our group loved the skiing, the terrain and selection of all types of hills for all types of skiers. We all said that we would like to go back and would stay at the same condo.

We had the most wonderful stay at Lorna and Jim's. Polebridge is an absolute gem. Excellent park access, as well as many gorgeous hikes in the Polebridge area itself. Bowman lake was our highlight; we saw a moose and went for a cold swim. The tent was clean and nicely decorated. Lorna and Jim have thought of everything, great food storage for bears, sparkling clean composting toilet, etc. Their property is beautiful and a great example of what makes Montana so special. Finally, Jim and Lorna themselves were delightful to talk to and had great recommendations. We will be back.

This was a peaceful little oasis. The home is charming and relaxing, just like the pictures, and SueAnn is an excellent host. It was also great for our dogs with a small fenced space and lots of access to trails. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Loved this space, we will be back, was cozy, roomy, and perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Dogs were safe in fenced yard, big enough to play Frisbee and zoom about. Doug was so friendly, and I just fell in love with resident dog Lucy, she is the softest, sweetest thing. Was well stocked, They thought of everything you may need. The beds were beyond comfortable as were all linens, soft and amazing. Impeccably clean and well maintained, wish I could move in, ha! Even had a lovely Christmas tree and lights for us! Close to Glacier, Kalispell. Hope to return this summer!

We had a spectacular time at Honey’s Place. The rental was well stocked with everything we needed. All was super clean with beautiful antiques and added touches. The mattresses were best we’ve encountered on our cross country trip. The hot tub was perfect - it was awesome to relax there and see all the stars. The owners were super nice and easy to contact. Bonus: dogs to play with!! We definitely recommend Honey’s Place and hope to return in the future.

We loved the Brownstone cabin and wish we could have stayed longer!! It was a peaceful, comfortable and private oasis to come home to after long days out exploring Glacier NP and other areas. We loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings to start our day. The location was exactly what we wanted..15 min drive to West Glacier entrance. Rosemary and Doyle were extremely responsive before and during our visit. They have a notebook of maps, restaurants, and recommendations of things to see at the cabin too. Highly recommend the Brownstone!

This place was absolutely stunning and wonderfully private! It was cozy, comfortable, and felt just like home. The hosts were very responsive and flexible with both check-in and check-out times, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. We're locals and booked it for a quick staycation—definitely recommending it to anyone visiting the area or friends here in the valley.

This place was so awesome! Very comfy and Gaylene was such a great host! Definitely would come back and stay again! Went to Glacier National Park and it was amazing! If you love awesome scenery and animals that's the place to be! Definitely was a trip of lifetime!

Perfect visit at the West Glacier KOA in the Tucker Lodge. Comfortable stay for our group of 9 people including children.

This little treehouse haven was so wonderful!! It was the perfect size for our family of five and was so cozy and comfy. Very close to the ski hill and easy to get to town for dinner and shopping. We loved the use of the hot tub and sauna everyday after we skied. We will be back!!

This was perfect for my boyfriend and I! It was very clean and felt super cozy. We both felt right at home and we absolutely loved that this property has a private hot tub right on the deck! Check in/out was super easy and I can’t say enough positive things about this entire stay! It was super nice that the entrance to the park was only 15 minutes from this property!

My friends and I loved our stay at this Airbnb! It was exactly what we needed to spend our nights after visiting glacier national park for the day. The location was perfect, as it was so close to the entrance of the park. Great find!

Beautiful location, clean, and the beds are SUPER comfortable. The hot tub was a little further away than expected and the pool key did not work but someone let us in. Also had an issue with the initial check-in code not working, but the owner answered within seconds and got us the correct code.

This condo is spacious and comfortable in a wonderful location. Very easy walk to downtown Bigfork. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone got good night sleeps. The kitchen was well equipped and great to cook family meals in. The bathrooms were spacious with great showers. The condo is on the second floor and you have to go up outside steps. The water quit working twice on our stay and when we called we were connected to a call center, and it seemed impersonal although the problem was resolved in a few hours. Would have preferred to talk with a local person. Overall we loved our stay and it was very comfortable and convenient for our family trip. Would definitely stay here again!
