Awaken to a panoramic view of the Crazy Mountains, Shields River and the deer, eagles, songbirds and assorted visitors that share this unique setting. Constructed from two shipping containers, featured on HGTV, we provide home base while you venture out to explore Yellowstone Park, skiing, hiking or mountain biking the Bridger Mountains, or shopping and sightseeing in Bozeman or Livingston. Enjoy a glass of wine near your cozy gas stove or soak in the sunset and stars around the deck firepit.
“The Container was a wonderful experience. We wanted a get away close to where we had business the following week. The location is remote but easily accessible to Livingston for grocery, food etc. We found plenty hiking trails within an hours drive. Mary even provided an ‘all trails’ link of her favorite spots. The home is a great get away with all the necessary items. Bedding is comfortable (Slighty Soft, Pillows are not dense. Bring supporting pillows if you’re that type of person). WiFi signal is strong and the kitchen has all the necessities to get you by for a weekend. Minus a microwave. So don’t plan on popcorn with him movies unless you cook it old school. Highly recommend. Also don’t forget your s’mores because the gas fire pit on the porch is amazing as you overlook the mountain range!!! Remember to sign the Cabin Log Book. It’s neat to see where everyone has traveled from. As far as Russia and France. This is the way Air B and B’s should be. Great Hosting.”
Get away from the crowds! Get out in nature. This is the safest place to be right now! This is the ultimate destination for social distancing. Rustic, remote one room cabin. Private bath. Wood burning fireplace. Gorgeous forest views. Adorable private deck with seating. Full size bed with comfortable mattress. Please read entire listing and rules carefully. We love having guests bring pets but do charge a small fee. $10 per pet per night.
“Great little get away. Quiet and peaceful. Courtney was awesome giving thorough directions and making sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was exactly what we needed to get away for the night. We didn't have enough time but there is a lot of really cool hikes and stuff to do around the cabin.”
This log cabin was custom built for my family and for generations to come. You will enjoy this home as the perfect vacation hideaway nestled in the mountains with a view of Lolo Creek and Lolo Peak while still being close to modern day accoutrements.
“After an 11 hour drive, my husband and I arrived to this homey cabin. It was warm and welcoming. If you’re considering a trip to Montana, this is the place! I can’t stress enough how AMAZING our trip was with the small town of Lolo and a bigger town near by (Missoula). We are so excited to book another trip here soon, you’ve got to experience this cute cabin!”
