Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fistral Beach

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

Great place and perfect location for everything in newquay. Guy was a great host and was flexible with check out as we needed a slightly later checkout. Would definitely recommend

A beautiful glamping experience that exceeded our expectations. We had our three small children with us that absolutely loved it! They loved seeing the chilckens and ducks on site. Buttercup accommodation had everything we needed and we will definitely recommend it to others.

Beautiful traditional Cornish cottage located within a very peaceful village but only 10mins drive from loads of beautiful beaches. Added benefit of a hot tub which unfortunately we didn’t get to use with a 2 year old in tow! Would highly recommend.

We’re so glad we chose to stay at Halula Beach House for my hen do weekend, it was the perfect pad! Pool, hot tub, silent disco, huge table we could all sit round… and just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. Would highly recommend it!

We visit Cornwall every year and this is the first time staying in a house, rather than a holiday park. So pleased we did it. The house is stunning and has the most amazing views over Portreath. We barely had the TV on (rarity with a 13 & 15 yr olds)and walked down to the sea most evenings or just sat and watched the waves. Ryan was patient with my questions and extremely helpful and adaptable to requests. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

What a wonderful find. We met at Tygwella for a family holiday, some of us coming from Australia and some from Manchester. The house was ideal. It was spacious so we could occupy different “wings” with our own bathrooms and come together for meals, chat and play. The house was very generously supplied with basic provisions, kitchen and laundry equipment. We wanted for nothing. Having two ovens was great for cooking adult and children’s meals. The location was so peaceful with great views and easy access to the coast path and beach.

We had a wonderful stay in Porthtowan. The house was fully equipped for self catering, the beds were comfy and the garden was a good size with amazing views. It was a good base to travel around the area, would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely week at Paul’s place in St Merryn. Paul’s communication was great from start to end and always helpful and on hand. Paul stays next door to the accommodation so is available if needed. We found the location great for exploring the beach which is just 5 min drive and only 10 min drive into Padstow. Local pub the farmers arms did lovely food (huge portions) and very welcoming. The air bnb had everything we needed, was a nice quiet location, easy parking, garden was especially nice as we had two children with us, all utensils there you need for cooking meals. Comfy beds, clean and tidy. Would return to Paul’s accommodation in the future. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the Apple Store. It’s a great location with just a few min walk into St. Agnes and easy location for close hikes. Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay! The house was beautiful and just as described and the host was very responsive. We stayed in February and the local shops and pubs (within comfortable walking distance) were shut which was a shame, but it was a close drive to beautiful beaches and a nice pub. All in all a wonderful stay!

A perfect and pretty seaside cottage located in a superb position to enjoy beautiful St Mawes. Tucked up a side street it only takes a couple of minutes to walk to the sea front. We loved the large private decking for sunbathing and how light, bright and airy the cottage was. It felt spacious, quiet and we were able to park so close to the front door the car boot was just 2ft away making everything so easy. We had the best time at Fisherman’s Cottage and will definitely be staying again.

Matt was very responsive to messages prior to arrival. Very helpful and friendly welcome to the property by Matt. The Driftwood was perfect for our short stay with our dog who enjoyed walks on the beach and Tehidy woods a short drive away.Everything was clean and comfortable and would definitely return if in this area again. A beautiful stay in the lovely Primrose glamping pod! Everything you would need in a peaceful location amongst the trees :) We experienced rain and sunshine here and it was cosy to hear the sound of the rain from inside the pod and when the sun came out the sunshine through the trees and onto the decking was wonderful. Our daughter loved running around outside. Tim was an excellent host and Hugo the poodle too! Thank you for letting us stay :) Karl, Cicely & Aurelia x

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

My family of four recently stayed at Pamela’s place in Portreath and we had a blissful week in paradise! Everything about the week was great - Pamela and her family are so lovely and friendly and it truly felt like a home away from home. I booked this place especially for the amenities of the pool and hot tub and my kids (11 and 8) loved it! It was so nice to have an uncrowded swimming pool to relax at! The apartment was clean and cozy and was a great base for our week of adventures. It was nice to be able to walk 5 minutes for a morning pastry and coffee from the local bakery. It is clear from its immaculate and beautiful nature that Bassett Acre is a source of pride for Pamela and her family and they were perhaps the most gracious and friendly hosts of any place my family has stayed. We are already planning another stay next summer!

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

Our stay with Stephen was great! Very clean and private space cabin. With a lovely outside area where we sat with some friends. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephen was great and really flexible RE: check-in timings and always had a very quick response to any queries I had before our stay. Would highly recommend.

Great apartment, very clean and spacious. Everything you need is there and it’s really close to the town centre and all of the beaches. This is the second time we have stayed and we will hopefully return in 2023.

As described, good central location within walking distance of the town. Well presented and good amenities.

I would recommend Fistral cottage, it was larger than the pictures seemed to show, and it had character and charm. The kids loved having access to a pool and hottub, we were lucky enough to have these to ourselves mostly, but we picked a time where it wasn’t peak holiday or very busy. The cottage was in a great location for a short drive to beaches and restaurants. I recommend the Italian down the road, zucchini 😉

This was our first time staying in a static caravan and it was so much nicer, more homely and spacious than we expected. Really clean, good use of space, games etc. and good location. The kitchen could be slightly better stocked but that was just minor. Thank you!
