Modern and well equipped 3 double bedroom Annexe. The area is perfect for walkers, cyclists and families looking for a peaceful holiday. Our location is a great base for exploring the High Peak, we are just on the edge of Chapel-en-le-Frith with shops, bars and coffee shops just 5-10 mins walk. Also on our doorstep are walks to Eccles pike (30 min walk) with stunning views of the local area. We offer a great base for attractions in Buxton, Castleton, Bakewell and Manchester City centre.

Thorneycroft Shepherds Hut offers short stay holidays for one to two people as an idyllic getaway to the peace and quiet of the countryside. It is situated in a quiet corner of our yard with uninterrupted views down our fields in the picturesque village of Kettleshulme. Great for exploring, a mile up the road the is Goyt Valley and Windgather Rocks, ideal for walkers, climbers and cyclists. In the village there is a local pub, The Swan, that serves excellent food, booking recommended.

A number of walks are accessible directly from the cottage. Hayfield village and Kinder Scout are 5-10 minutes drive away, Mam Tor slightly further. Close to Chinley train station (10 minutes walk) Welcome pack provided, including food basics and wine. Dogs welcome (upto 2) Fully compliant with recent changes to fire regs.

Located in Fernilee in the Goyt Valley area of the Peak District National Park.Buxton is less than 10 mins drive away , we are surrounded by walks in the woodland, moorland and along reservoirs. Accommodation is in a private suite with a double bedroom, en suite shower room and a living room with basic cooking facilities comprising of a kettle, microwave, single hob, toaster and fridge (no oven), suitable for making snacks and light meals.
