Cottage vacation rentals in Ferndale

The place was surrounded by trees that made it private. I loved the fire pit, it was great to sit out with a glass of wine around the fire. The amenity building is a short walk. The nature trails just make you feel like you’re camping, yet you have a woodland cottage instead of a tent. Such a beautiful place. I stayed in April, off season. So very quiet. I met some of the owners and they love living there. The pond is like a painting with the Canadian geese, willow trees and cedar trees. Like wow! Very well maintained place. Amanda is responsive and easy host.

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend cooking and relaxing with our family. There was plenty of seating and the kitchen was fully stocked with amenities. Great floor plan for 2 families to share and find private space. We’ll be back!

Our boys loved the fire pit and enjoyed having camp fires and making s’mores. Your communication was prompt and helpful. Highly recommended!

The cabin was beautiful, stunning surroundings, beautifully landscaped, and very peaceful. Beds were comfortable, and there was nothing I’d change. Looking forward to coming back with my family.

Great family spot near Cultus Lake. Amenities were fantastic for our family of 5. Lots to do if you want, but also great place to just relax and chill if that’s what you’re after. The cottage is exactly as described and seen in photos. Dainia is a wonderful host and went above and beyond - even mailing me a few items we forgot when we left. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay. Everything was as described and the home was very clean. 5 minute drive into Eastsound and close to tons of hikes and beaches. Already planning our return trip. My dog loved the fenced back yard too! So hard to find a dog friendly airbnb but this was the only one on the island with a fenced yard :)

The North Beach Inn was the perfect stay for our trip to Orcas Island. Waking up to the beach in the morning and watching the wildlife like the seals and bald eagles was a nice way to start the day. We played the board games provided and had a wonderful fire on the beach. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this spot to my friends!

One of the best stays we’ve had. This is just the loveliest setting, with so many activities. The cabin is absolutely rustic but if your emphasis is on the outdoors and the location rather than amenities you’ll love it as much as we did. We grilled for friends and fished and swam and hiked and played uno flip for hours. We’ll be back!

Fantastic little cottage with a beautiful outdoors area and a fountain to watch the local birds. The location is so central to the village, but the cottage is so peaceful. Loved it!

We absolutely adored staying here! It really made our trip extra-special to have this quiet private place to call our home-away-from-home. We loved being able to have a campfire on the beach every night, the beds were very comfortable, and the electric fireplace made us cozy. We also appreciated the whale watching recommendation given to us when we booked the house! It would be a dream to stay here again someday!

Amazing!! Just needed a quick getaway for the weekend, so finding NB was not only a pleasant surprise, it was incredible! We will absolutely be back every time we come to Orcas!

The cottage was adorable, comfortable, and well provisioned with everything one could need. The beach is only a few steps away, with a drop dead beautiful view towards the San Juan and Gulf Islands.

Exactly as described! Super clean, cute home! Comfy beds, plenty of towels and linens! Beautiful view and yard! We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Very nice older home. Bed was comfortable and heating was great given it was chilly outside. It has a fireplace but wasn’t there enough to warrant starting one. Easy to check in and out. Would recommend to anyone.

Our family had a wonderful visit to a lovely house for Christmas, with AMAZING views of the sea and the sky! Such a joy waking up to views of the sea every morning and walking right out to the beach for a chilly dip! We had a beach fire one evening - firewood & axe provided. We were treated to a warm welcome - granola bars and other goodies, together with ingredients for S'Mores - followed by a most comfortable stay. Everything spotlessly clean. It was a pity the fireplace wasn't working - but, on the other hand, its lack gave us free rein on the splendid stone hearth to lay out our Christmas presents!
