Along with the mesmerizing 180 degree view of the Puget Sound, our 1931 historical beach house has a perfect view of the Redondo pier. The home is across the street from The Sound. In addition to a chef’s kitchen and master suite with a king-sized bed and sleeper sofa w/Mitchell Gold mattress, the living room converts to an add’l sleeping space w/a Pottery Barn sleeper sofa. A brand new guest bathroom w/laundry is a few steps away. For guests w/disabilities, we have wide doorways & no stairs.

At the waters edge of Lake Tapps you’ll find our cabana. It’s hidden and private within our residential property. You’ll have the entire waterfront of our parcel to yourself. Fish off the dock, kayak, or just relax in seclusion. Outdoors you’ll find a large covered porch, fireplace and hot tub. Inside- a queen wall Bed, fireplace, cable TV, Wifi. It’s not as large as the pics make it seem but it’s comfortable. Please be aware the shower is in an outdoor room accessed through the bathroom.

Located only 10 miles south of Seatac Airport, 20 miles south of Seattle, and only 10 miles north of Tacoma. We are close to the Aquatic Training Center, many shops and restaurants and 20 miles from White River Amphitheater. A retreat for a couples weekend get-away, traveling business professionals or a vacation family that needs a private space to relax.

Despite countless activities nearby, the .75 acre property, including the tiny house & she-shed, is a wonderful space for recharging one's batteries.

Charming private Vashon beach cottage. Get away from it all, unless you need it all, in which case you'd probably be happier in downtown Seattle. There's beach access and plenty of quiet at night. You can hear the water, the marine life and the birds. Vashon town is about 7 miles. Plenty of restaurants and interesting small shops. Pt. Robinson lighthouse is a short beach walk away. These pictures were taken early summer but some guests enjoy the winter.
