Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Spotlessly clean and felt like a five-star hotel, but with all the comfort of home. An absolute gem! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, luxurious stay that truly feels like a home away from home.

Lovely couple of days at Lilia’s place. Cottage was pristine with a minimalist modern decor. It had everything we needed for two days rest. Lilia provided detailed instructions on how to get to the property and information about local amenities. The local village is a beautiful quaint place.

Spent a relaxing long weekend in Helen’s lovely cottage. Helen is a great host making us feel extremely welcome and provided everything we needed, even toys for the dog! Sitting in the lounge and looking out the large window watching her stunning horses, a million rabbits and partridges chasing each other was the highlight for our dog who made himself at home the moment we arrived. The garden is a rare perfectly enclosed dog friendly garden, first time we have felt relaxed about letting our dog off knowing he couldn’t get out and wander. This makes a huge difference. Good location to go exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. Plenty facilities within a short distance. We were lucky to witness the most amazing electrical storm whilst there, was out of this world. ( Helen slept through it so we gave her a video of it 🙈) Would recommend this great little place whether you use it as a stop over ( 10 mins from the M6) or to spend a few days to switch off and relax. Sensational stay, Anita the owner incredibly accomodating. Amazing location and home. In Cumbria for family wedding. Everything catered for. Easy to travel with train station a 5 min stroll. 2 x pubs close by and lovely village green. Riverside walks and beautiful countryside. Peaceful, tranquil and I’ll definitely be back!
