Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fairfax

The Fox Lodge is a very spacious home, ideal for group gathering, optimally located near Point Reyes/ Inverness and outdoor activities. The master bedroom suite was gorgeous with an amazing view and comfortable bed. The kitchen was well stoked with state of the art appliances, although a bit dark for food prep and with limited pantry space. The family room was very comfortable and cozy with a beautiful and large L-shaped couch ideal for lounging and relaxing. There is a nice deck off the kitchen/living room for outdoor dining and lounging. We enjoyed are stay!!

my friend and I stayed at Peter‘s place over Easter weekend, and we just loved everything about it. The home layout was fantastic with one wing having all of the social spaces, dining kitchen lounging rooms with huge windows that looked across both lagoons. Beautiful sunset and watching the sea birds. The other wing had a sleeping quarters in the bathrooms. Everything was pristine and there was plenty of space. One room is a bunk room, which was super fun and the beds were really comfortable. The house is well located and even more beautiful than the pictures Peter was super responsive and proactive we would stay again in a heartbeat. There are such beautiful, calm, peaceful energy, a great place to unwind.

An ideal relaxing place right by a beach oasis. Sigward was really thoughtful about our stay and overall experience. Will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone.

We really enjoyed staying at Charlene and Joe’s house. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy meals at home. We especially loved sitting out on the deck right on the water. They are great hosts and great communicators!

What an absolute pleasure to stay at Jewel on the Avenue!! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could want for a group get away. It’s also perfectly located near downtown. We were initially using San Anselmo as a home base to visit a couple places around the area but we ended up spending a good amount of time downtown. San Anselmo is so lovely!! We loved our stay at Jan’s place in Berkeley. The space was great for our trip. We absolutely loved the deck and hot-tub. We spent most evenings sitting out there for hours! You also can’t beat the views of the bay! Overall, such a wonderful stay, we would for sure go back and recommend to all our friends and family.

Clean, comfy apartment and the perfect location for a weekend spent on nearby trails and at the beach! I would definitely book with Phillip and Nitza again.

From the extensive vinyl collection to the categorized bookshelf — from the skylights to the city panorama, there’s nothing that this loft doesn’t provide. The apartment was a perfect landing spot after a long day in the city and a restful environment for simply chilling out. Looking for a delicious dark roast paired with a fresh cheese danish, check out the bodega located right down the street. As for our host, Terri was a delight to communicate with. She made checkin/out a breeze and her personal touches of decor made it feel like home. Will come back to this Air BNB again no doubt.

Absolutely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. It was immaculately clean with vibrant, fun, eclectic decor. We loved the style and setup. It was well equipped and then some! Thoughtful touches. Such a cozy and comfortable place to stay. Bed was very comfortable Nice hot shower with ever toiletry you can think of available for guests. The patio was exceptional, again beautifully decorated. We enjoyed starting our day with coffee out there. Location was perfect. Downtown Petaluma minutes away. Surrounding area has breweries and wineries. Monica was a very attentive host, checking in to see if we needed anything a few times during our stay. Excellent communication. Answered our questions prior to booking. We have family in San Fran and will absolutely make this place our home base whenever we visit.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

This place was beautiful, quaint, and the perfect getaway for 2! I went with a friend and we absolutely loved it while visiting both Napa and Sonoma. The surroundings are gorgeous and the apartment itself was so comfy and cozy. Eileen was also an amazing host! She always responded quickly and had recs on the ready!

We enjoyed our Father’s Day getaway filled with lots of family giggles, swimming, sun, and the best company. The home was relaxing and exclusive. We felt like we were in the Italian countryside paired with local Napa valley wine (who could ask for more?!) located near the heart of Napa and the best restaurants/grocery. We would love to come back soon!

Our family had the most incredible weekend at Gina's beautiful home! First of all, a HEATED POOL makes all the difference, huge plus! We loved spending time in the backyard with so many beautiful outdoor areas to hangout with family, including your own private dock with a kayak! We were a little bummed the outdoor firepit wasn't working because we loved being outside so much but maybe next time. We hope to come back soon! We loved the big wooden table and big cozy couch for all 8 of us to enjoy time eating meals and playing games together! It was super convenient to have the grocery store just 6 minutes down the road as well. She was also extremely accommodating which made the stay even better!

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home filled with beautiful artwork and creative touches that gives it a ton of personality. Every room has it's own charm as well as access to the garden-like outdoors. The beds are very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the peaceful setting. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and check-in and check-out was very easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional hilltop home! Highly recommend. Full wall of windows offers stunning views, and living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed throughout. Entire home has a designer touch. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, furniture and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the fragrant, well-maintained spring garden, with numerous blooming daffodils and hyacinths. Walking paths throughout. Geraldine was responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants that proved spot-on. Geraldine has clearly put careful thought into creating a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting

Our family of 8 came from OH, MI and OR for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Hans’s place was perfect! We wanted great views, close proximity to San Francisco, Napa & Sonoma vineyards, parks & restaurants and this place had it all! The house easily accommodated all of us & the poolside bathroom came in handy. The pool was technically closed for the season but on a nice sunny day we opened the pool cover and a few of us took a cold plunge! Very refreshing! The outdoor seating & dining table offered a perfect place to congregate & the sunsets were gorgeous! Inside, the early morning risers enjoyed the seating group around the fireplace. The large dining table was perfect, especially for our Thanksgiving dinner. We found the hosts very responsive when we had an issue with the door code. Since we rented a vehicle that could seat all 8 of us for our daily excursions I will say the winding driveway & switchbacks to the house are not for the faint of heart but the reward is spectacular views!

This was a great escape in Oakland! Every guest had their own bathroom and the kitchen/living room space was so spacious.
