Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality

We had a great weekend at the cottage. The cottage is very spacious with a large garden right by the water. The cottage is not the most modern summerhouse - but it exudes a real summerhouse vibe, just as we want it. To our surprise, there were two good bikes that you could use to bike around the island (this was not mentioned in the description). The house is versatile, as it will suit both families with small children, but also for adult couples who will enjoy the tranquility and the cozy island life. The cottage is a good kilometer from the ferry, which makes it super optimal to get to on foot. It's easy to get around the island on foot or by bike. Communication with Sine and Mark has been super and welcoming. We highly recommend a trip to Avernakø!

We had a lovely stay at Emilie's home... A lovely house with everything you need and we felt at home... Emilie was nice to talk to and gave us clear instructions and was ready to help if any challenges arose... All in all, a lovely house in a lovely area 🙂 We could definitely stay with Emilie again.

We stayed in the house poppelhuset for a week, the house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Don't expect great luxury, it's simple but charming. The bathroom is clean and has a good water jet, there are plenty of towels. The bedrooms are quiet, we did not hear neighbors or cars. In the kitchen is everything you need, fridge, herbs, olive oil, nice oven and neat stove. In the house there are several paintings, some of which are former residents, Fritz Syberg, which gives the house an extra piece of history. In the garden it is wonderful to stay. A window broke with a game of football, but we could solve that quickly with a very friendly host. The area is beautiful, we walked a number of routes from the house in the evening. Everything is close, nature, beach and picturesque villages. Thank you for this week in your home!

Very nice quiet house with splendid views. The decor is intentionally '70s, which adds undeniable charm to this listing. Also very functional and has everything it does. Please note, however, sheets are not provided. We regret not staying longer and not enjoying the view enough. Direct access to the sea and dock for a refreshing swim. Idyllic! Pia is very responsive, very accommodating, and concerned about the good performance of your stay. A great address that we highly recommend!

A great location, 180 degrees views of the sea - even from the bed if you leave the bedroom door open. Walking over your own meadow into the water. The furnishings and the whole house are harmonious and tasteful. A large terrace with unobstructed views of the water. Everything was as described. Easy contactless check-in and fast communication with Gerda. But the special thing is the location and the view. SPAR, 5 km away, really has everything and opening hours that you can only dream about in Germany.

The summer house is beautifully located. You can enjoy the sea, the flower field and the sunset every day from the house as from on the terrace. The house is spacious and comfortable. Beautiful spot on the water with the jetty where you can take a fresh morning or evening dive. It's a lovely place to stay.

Cozy place to stay, always find a windless place, so you can sit outside nicely. Proximity to the beach and sunset is so beautiful. By bike you can make great excursions, also on foot a dream. The apartment has everything you need, gladly again.

We were very excited about this place. Nicely renovated old stable with everything you need for a stay. And then it is wonderfully located in the middle of the Funen nature with lovely peace and quiet. Lone, our hostess was top notch. We arrived one late night, and then homemade cake was ready for us. There was also coffee and tea and in the fridge was beer, water, homemade jams, freshly laid eggs and roll sausage. There were bowls in the freezer. SO lovely. She was very hospitable and offered to use her sun loungers, etc. if we wanted to. In addition, she was nice to tell us about the area and recommend different places we should see. Such a nice apartment. Incredibly beautiful and cozy decorated. Beautiful white roses set out in several places. Cozy surroundings.

Beautiful and very tastefully decorated accommodation with full access to the garden with herb and berry bed and of course garden furniture to relax. We particularly appreciated the good location and the proximity to the pedestrian zone, the weekly market and the harbor. The Fürsorgemuseum is opposite and very worth seeing. Thank you dear Majbrit. It was beautiful.

Have enjoyed a lovely weekend in Faaborg with my family in Josefine's apartment. A lovely, big, really cozy and spacious home close to the city center. This is not the last time we choose Josefine's apartment. Everything has gone just perfect😊

The house is comfortably furnished, clean and very dog-friendly. We felt very welcome. We spent wonderful days in her house and the surrounding area. Ingeborg is a lovely and uncomplicated hostess. We are happy to recommend her.

it was very easy to find the house, which was located in a quiet neighborhood and had a lovely view and sheltered garden. we thought the place was bigger than what the pictures gave the impression of, same with patio and garden. it was walking distance to shop and a great playground, there was also football and tennis opportunities nearby. it was a great beach that Poul recommended, it was only a short drive away. We were 4 adults and 4 children who cost us a lot here and can recommend both house and host😊

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful house! The nice beach is a food walk of 10 minutes away. The house is very big and beautiful!

Dorothe’s place was perfect for our family of three adults and one child. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals with groceries purchased at the nearby market. There was plenty of space to relax and unwind for our six night stay and we felt very safe and comfortable. We traveled to Odense from the USA and needed flexible hours. Dorothe was very accommodating. We would love to stay there again.

There were eight of us there and everyone had plenty of space, a great room and the garden is perfect for the kids! Lots of great play options! The house looks exactly like the pictures. We had the most wonderful Ascension weekend at Vestergaard with Kirsten as host. It all went super easy. The cottage is very charmingly renovated and with many good rooms where you can easily sleep many. The kitchen is well-equipped and everything works properly. Vestergaard is also very conveniently located if you have a car/bicycle with you. You are located in the middle of the island, so all edges of Ærø can be reached within a short distance. Huge recommendation from here.
