“Beautiful location. There are plenty of leaflets for local walks and attractions. Only stayed here for two nights and would happily return to the cottage. The cottage was beautifully clean and host provided clear, timely instructions despite only booking a day prior to check in. Would strongly recommend.”

Large comfy double bed with memory foam mattress, 50" Plasma TV and private ensuite and shower. The communal spaces consist of an open plan kitchen/diner with cosy seating area. Equipped with TV, large corner sofa and an original Victorian fireplace. To the rear of the property we have a very pleasant outdoor decked patio with garden furniture and BBQ facilities.
“This was my first visit to Sheffield. I loved Julie's house and the spacious room with en suite were a perfect place to relax. Julie and her family were warm and friendly. The house is in a lovely part of town, a short walk to some independent shops, nice cafes and bars and parks and botanical gardens. I really liked Sheffield and will return and hopefully Julie's room will be available when I do.”
This cosy, detached, stone holiday cottage dates back to 1640. Located in Eyam village, it has been beautifully converted retaining stunning beams with modern furnishings. Perfect base in the Peak District for couples who love the outdoors with great walking and cycling on the doorstep. The space sleeps 2 people - there is a galleried sitting room and bedroom with a double bed, a shower room and a kitchen area. There is private parking in a designated private driveway as well as cycle parking.
“The cottage is very quaint and perfect if you are in need of a break away. It’s a perfect place for a couple (we took the dog too) and a great escape from ordinary life. Helen was a great host and incredibly helpful. The village of Eyam offers some lovely pubs and coffee shops which are ideal for a pit stop. There are plenty of walks in the local area, we would recommend the 4 mile walk from Eyam and the 7 mile walk over Mam Tor from Castleton.”
