Twin Oaks

CollinRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was our second time at Twin Oaks, bringing our kids along this time, and it was another amazing visit. From the parking right by the kitchen door it’s easy to unload our van and settle in for 3 nights. Two slept soundly in the loft area and the other was on a bed in the sun room. We enjoyed the firm king bed and slept well to! There are no blinds in living room so the view was spectacular though it did mean the kids woke up early. The house was clean and comfortable and easily cooked every meal in the well equipped kitchen. Sandrine is a great host, we have really enjoyed staying with her!

The Partridge Nest on Palomar Mountain

PeterRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was a wonderful stay! Stayed here for our Anniversary, and it could not have been more perfect! The space was really well maintained, and clean! Monica provided a lot recommendations of activities for the weekend stay! When up to Palomar Observatory and took a tour, did a couple of hikes near the state park which were gorgeous!! 10/10 best recommendation by far!! We took the Weir trail all the way down to the little creek and found a nice and shady spot to sit have a little picnic. Spent one night going down to Temecula and had dinner at Baily’s for our anniversary dinner. A fun and friendly dining spot, really friendly staff, with live music. Overall stay was great! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!!
An Olympic size swimming pool is set against a backdrop of lush greenery, featuring a connected hot tub with a stone border. Palm trees gently sway under a clear blue sky, creating a serene outdoor space perfect for relaxation.

Escape to the Cosmic Cabin: Palomar Mtn Hideaway

MeghanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Steps from a fantastic view. This is the third cabin we have stayed at in this area and this had the best expansive view of the mountains at this price point. Comfortable bed. Great area around to enjoy the snow including sledding. Kids loved mortal combat and TV. Just enough space for the 4 of us plus dog. I love when there is lots of spices, oil etc. Plus convenient stuff for our pup. Hosts were very caring and responsive!

Palomar Mountain Getaway - Little Red’s Foxy Roxy

MattRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Lovely, cozy cabin in the mountains. The inside was clean and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked with hardware, we cooked multiple meals each day without wanting for anything. The bed is comfortable, buy very firm. We had a minor issue with the door code, and Denise responded immediately to fix our issue. It is a lovely setting with lots of windows and natural light. We would certainly return.

The Cali Cabin

JordanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
From the moment we pulled up the winding road to the cabin, we knew we'd found the restorative getaway we'd been needing. Tucked in a serene pocket of nature, this place offers a stillness that’s hard to come by. Inside, the space strikes a balance of minimal yet warm, curated without feeling over-designed. Everything you need is where you’d expect it, and nothing feels out of place. The outdoor shower is a lovely amenity - better than most hotel showers with its water pressure and temperature control all while standing on beautiful stones with stunning views. The bed was super comfortable. We heard the hoots of an owl while falling asleep. There’s something grounding about this place—like time stretches just a little longer here. If you're in the mood for a restorative nature getaway with more amenities than camping without feeling like you're leaving the nature entirely when you step foot inside, this is a perfect spot to kick back.
The inviting living area showcases warm wooden paneling and expansive windows, allowing natural light to fill the space. A wood-burning stove is centered on a stone base, flanked by plush seating. An adjacent piano adds a touch of charm to this rustic retreat.

New! Almost Heaven - Palomar Mountain Getaway

MarahRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a lovely weekend stay! Rowena is a fantastic host. She was warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She made our arrival smooth and our experience even more special by answering all our questions promptly, especially when we weren’t able to reach RedAwning directly. Her thoughtful touches, like leaving wine for us, really made a difference! The cabin itself is charming and full of personality. We enjoyed nights around the fire pit under the stars and peaceful mornings birdwatching from the porch. The neighborhood cat even hung out with us! Inside, we loved the quirky features, from the stone basement to the attic bedroom, and we had fun with the board games and projector setup. One thing to keep in mind is the stairs are uneven inside and outside the cabin, which could be tricky for guests who prefer more stable footing. Thanks again for a comfortable, memorable stay!

Romantic Cozy Cabin of Western Red Cedar

KristyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The pictures don’t do it justice! My husband and I did a last minute staycation and Finch Hatton (as it is named) happened to be available! Sunni’s cabin was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Everything was simply perfect. You can tell in all the little details that this is Sunni’s passion. If you are thinking is it worth the price the answer is YES! We are just in love with this quiet slice of heaven and hope to return one day for another restful stay 💜 If you’re thinking about purchasing food made to order, we can attest to Sunni’s excellent culinary skills. Our Sunday morning breakfast was so beautiful and delicious. You won’t be disappointed if you book this Air BnB! Thank you Sunni, we won’t soon forget our weekend stay at Finch Hatton 💜

Secluded Cottage in San Diego

AmyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

Red Tail Ranch

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband, son and I needed a place to stay in Ramona while attending a wedding nearby. This was by far the best place I found and I was so hapy it was available. It's a huge ranch with lots of farm animals. We loved it. The house was clean and well appointed; beds were comfortable, and the porch for morning coffee was the best. This is only a 22-minute drive to Julian, and 5-6 miles from the town of Ramona. A++ -- 10 out of 10.

Mountain House With Hottub and View

PriyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at The Mountain House over a weekend, and it was amazing. Beautiful views from the house and the whole farm is so serene and peaceful. My daughter loved the animals (especially the goats) and if she had it her way, she would stay there full time. The chickens gave us lots of fresh eggs everyday. Also, I highly recommend taking one of the cooking classes that is offered as it really adds to the experience. We took the cheese making one and came home not just with knowledge of how to make delicious cheese, but also lots of cheese for us to enjoy.
