The Rabbit Hole offers a beautifully appointed hideaway in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. Perfect for a romantic break or as a base for walking & cycling in the surrounding countryside. A short hop from the bustling market town of Skipton with its medieval castle, shops & restaurants, Embsay is a quiet village bordering Barden Moor & The Bolton Abbey Estate and very close to The Tithe Barn. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs & a vintage steam railway station. Guests are welcome to share our garden.
“The Rabbit Hole is small but there is enough room to move around and for personal space. The bathroom is surprisingly large with a capacious shower. The double bed is comfy and the upstairs living space perfectly adequate. The kitchen-in-a-box is equipped with a decent size fridge and a microwave/convection/grill oven and was ideal for our breakfast and snack needs. (Our main meals were taken out - we recommend the Elm Tree, a short distance up the road). The property is set back from the main road and was private and quiet at all hours of the day and night. The owners also allow tenants access to their garden. We would definitely try to book here again next time we are in the area.”
1930's 3 bed semi detached house with bay windows, own driveway & parking, gardens front and back. 5 minute walk to town center. Child & dog friendly.
“We had such a nice break in this beautiful house. Such a good location and lovely views, it must be great in the Summer when you can enjoy the garden too. We loved the design and decor of the house and the three bathrooms were perfect. Mary was very helpful and quick to respond to queries and we fell in love with Skipton, so many shops, a market and great walks nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay.”

“Beautiful apartment, despite the weather being poor (our fault for going away while there were floods!) the apartment was so cosy and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in for the rest of the evening. Lovely little finishing touches as well to make you feel more welcome!”
