Cabin vacation rentals in Effingham

Second time I have stayed here. Great experience. The hot tub and fire pit in addition to the sights and sounds of the spillway make this rental worth staying here more than once. The hosts are lovely and attentive

Airbnb automatically confirmed our reservation before the host had approved it, and unfortunately, the home wasn’t available for all the dates we had booked.Thankfully, Mallory responded quickly and went above and beyond to help us find an alternative that was perfect for our family. Her responsiveness and customer service were truly top-notch!

A Novel Stay was a great location for us. We went to fish at a tournament so needed a place close to the Lake. The home was extremely clean and had lots of extras. There was plenty of space to park and charge our boats. The Blackstone grill was great so we could cook for a crowd easily. The oversized games were a hit for the teenage boys with us and the coffee bar was a hit in the morning for the adults. I would definitely book this place again.

We loved our stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the back deck and listening to the birds sing. This is a perfect place for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat in to nature. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We can't wait to come back!

A cute cabin. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was nice and the cabin is convenient to stores and restaurants, yet felt out of the way and private. We have stayed here before and at another of Aaron's property's on several occasions, when we come to town to visit family. Aaron is always very helpful and responds promptly. We always enjoy our stays here.

Very nice place to go

We enjoyed our stay at Hunter's Heaven! It is a beautiful location with plenty of room. We loved sitting on the deck and drinking coffee while overlooking the pond. Shane was very responsive and kind to all requests. Would definitely recommend!

We fell in love the moment we stepped inside. Definitely not for the hotel with the pool set, but was exactly what we wanted - a rustic log cabin from the historic past. It is set in the woods and wrapped with vines giving it a storybook feel. Paths are mowed through the woods to allow unobstructed walks surrounded by towering hickory trees and thousands of flowers. We will be back. Maybe again this summer, but for sure next spring when the dogwood trees and flowers are in full bloom. Thank you Bill, for making your cabin available. We would like to meet you next time to learn more about the history of the property.

Spotless with everything you need!

From the interior the cabin is cutely rustic yet very functional. There was plenty of room for us and our 2 medium/large dogs. As many others reported the cabin was immaculately clean! We were a bit surprised that the property was right next to I70 and while it was quiet inside we did feel a bit exposed as we walked our dogs on the property along I70 and next to boat storage and HVAC businesses.

We have stayed at these cabins several times while back and forth from Missouri to Ohio. We have never been disappointed with our stay. They are always very clean and quiet. The location is excellent in proximity to Interstate 70. Perfect place to break up a long trip; especially if you are traveling with a dog.

Wow! This little hidden jem is amazing for individuals or couples who love quiet and the out doors. The hosts are absolutely amazing people. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful little cabin! Everything was immaculate, charming, and comfortable! The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. The area around the home was so pretty and peaceful. And, the candlelight to come home to in the evening was a special touch! Highly recommend this home! Brittany was a very gracious host!!

Our stay was perfect! Staying at the cabin was peaceful and just what my family and I needed. We had a wonderful time and loved being able to just be together as a family in nature. If anyone wants a peaceful stay with great hosts this place is where you want to stay! We would definitely stay here again!

I only stayed for one day but it was great! There were a few cons such as the location being right off the road, some ants in the kitchen and ac dripping water in the bedroom. Other than those, the space was amazing. My favorite thing was the pond. It’s definitely worth the price!

We found this Lake Paradise cabin to be the perfect place to celebrate our 56th anniversary! Upscale, exceptionally clean, well furnished, quiet, comfortable, splendid nature viewing, especially views from the deck, robust wildlife, particularly the herons and turkey vultures. Loved the knotty pine! Idyllic location. We hope to be able to stay again.

Absolutely peaceful! It was a very beautiful cabin with everything provided. My husband and boys all caught some fish. I am already trying to rebook to bring my mom down for a getaway.

The photos don't do it justice, it was way better than what we expected, very private and rustic, with all the amenities that you could need, I loved it!
