Elstree is a self-contained annexe to our house with allocated parking off-road and basic kitchen facilities — suitable for a short break but not for hosting dinner parties! We welcome pets and kids (although we don’t provide specialist things for infants and teenagers might find it a squash!). It is 10 min leisurely walk to the town centre and beautiful Scarborough South Bay beach, all theatres and seaside essentials. A home from home cosy space for peace, quiet and rest.

A great base for visiting the surrounding coastline. Helen was very helpful suggesting local walks. A very well equipped kitchen in which we cooked all our meals. And dog friendly too… the tennis balls were a bonus and the cottage’s own secure bit of garden was great.

Anne is an excellent host and the flat was perfect, I didn’t want for anything. 😊 The location was perfect for seeing all of Scarborough on foot and the neighbours were friendly in passing. There’s a chip shop, burger/kebab place plus some local convenience stores very close by. (And the buses and trains are nearby if you want to venture further). I highly recommend this host and her property 🤩

Rebecca's cottage is a wonderful home from home. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a weekend visit or a longer stay. The beds are super comfy. The cottage location is amazing with everything in walking distance. Rebecca was a 1st class host, any questions were answered almost immediately. Rebecca even messaged to say we could check in early. Would i stay at the cottage again...100% i would
