Monthly Rentals in Eagle Lake

This house worked well for our family (6 adults), we were in town for a wedding. It had all we needed; really nice linens, plenty of towels and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms are on the main level but one of the bathrooms is in the basement which I didn’t realize when I booked it. It was fine for us but a watch out for anyone that has trouble with stairs. Brittany was a great and very responsive host!

The beach access was incredible for quiet mornings. Well stocked with things to do, it was a joy to watch the other renters take the boats out to fish and relax. The neighbors were all friendly, the neighborhood a short and sweet walk. It was an incredible stay, we ended up extending because we weren't ready to leave! Loved the fully equipped kitchen and though we didn't utilize it, free laundry facilities are always a plus for lake vacations (no more smelly bathing suits on the way home!) The thermostat was straightforward and the wifi connection was strong. No complaints here!

I stayed for a little over a month. The host was kind and very responsive, and even helped me extend my stay; which I appreciated. The place was generally tidy, but I had to deep clean on arrival—dust webs and an empty briefs box left behind. The furnace had a strong odor, and no screens on the window in common area or door made it hard to enjoy fresh air without flies. There’s a bright floodlight outside the window—great for safety, but disruptive if you’re sensitive to light while sleeping. No curtains, so I added my own. Cleaning supplies & paper towel were well stocked. Toilet paper was limited, but I brought my own, so it was no biggie.. and the host kindly provided bug spray when I noticed a few critters. I left the space better than I found it, adding 2 full-length mirrors and new bathroom rugs. It may not be ideal for long term stays for everyone, but it worked for me. I’d consider one of the host’s other listings in the future. Thanks again for the hospitality!
