Charming cottage in Ellishadder

The home is a perfect location. Close to many popular things to do on the Isle of Skye including Old Man of Storr and the dinosaur footprints on the beach (less than 1/2 mile away). The home is peaceful and in a beautiful location, bathrooms and kitchen are great, living room cozy, beds comfortable. If you’re looking for a place to stay, this is it. We absolutely hope to return the next time we’re in Scotland.

3 Bed - 19th Century Farmhouse - Skye

LorraineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had the absolute pleasure of staying in this beautifully restored farmhouse just over the bridge on The Isle of Skye. This location was perfect after a long journey and ideal for exploring Skye. The fireplace was lovely after an adventurous rainy day and Weronica replenished the wood upon request! The moment we arrived we felt cozy and right at home. The steps to the upstairs may be tricky for someone elderly as they are narrow but the open stairwell added charm. Plenty of closet space too. The beds were comfortable with lovely views and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washer/dryer takes a long time. Plan accordingly if you are doing laundry. While the view is beautiful, we arrived during midge season so we weren't able to enjoy the outside picnic table. Bring bug spray. The farm house is well designed with small foyer for coats and boots and to keep the bugs out. The farmhouse was a dream and we'll be talking about it for years to come. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Such an enjoyable stay! We had only 2 days to explore Skye and this was a perfect base for us as during the day we saw the high traffic tourist attractions and were able to enjoy the calmer more private Southern towns in the evenings. Fiona and Angus are lovely hosts- helpful, responsive, and an absolute joy to chat with. Room was as pictured and Fiona is quite thoughtful with providing snacks, dishes, tea and kettle, etc. Also, the adorable animal sightings on the drive to the house are a delightful bonus! Definitely hope to return for another stay someday

The Creagan Double room Bed and Breakfast

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a double room and could use the large bathroom alone. Flora is very nice and straightforward. The location of the B&B is perfect for excursions to Eilean Donan Castle, to the Isle of Skye. The pass to Applecross is a challenge for the driver, but it is impressive and the food at the Applecross Inn is very delicious. Lochcarron Weavers Shop is worth a visit. Beautiful scarves, stoles, quilts.
A modern bathroom is showcased with a glass shower enclosure, featuring white subway tiles and a wooden countertop. Natural light streams in through a skylight, illuminating the stone walls. A contemporary sink and toilet are positioned for convenience, complemented by soft towels.

Stunning 5* Lodge Nestled Beneath Old Man of Storr

CharmanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is the BEST Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in – we mean it! It wasn’t just a lodge, it was a full-on experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with so many thoughtful touches – a lovely handwritten card, fresh flowers, a tray of fruits, and a fridge that was actually stocked (a rare Airbnb gem!). The owner is an absolute sweetheart – super responsive, friendly, and clearly puts her heart into making guests feel at home. She even included a luxurious-feeling body lotion – a little detail that made a big impression (and one we’ve never seen at other Airbnbs). My family really, really loved our time here. In fact, we ended up cutting short our day 2 itinerary just so we could soak up every last second at the lodge. That’s how much we didn’t want to leave. It’s cozy, beautiful, and filled with love – truly one of a kind. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. If you’re lucky enough to book a stay here, trust us – you’re in for a treat. Thank you Elaine 💕?

Stoney Cottage, 1 Double Ensuite in Rural setting.

What a wonderful relaxing stay I’ve just had with William and Christine. Room immaculate and cosy. Great choices for breakfast with generous portions excellently presented. Made to feel at home from initial friendly greeting right up to departure. Their knowledge of Skye and advice they give is second to none. Felt really at home when invited to spend a couple of hours with them both in their private quarters. Can’t praise William and Christine enough for the quality of the property and their hosting skills. Thank you for looking after me.

Portree Bay Cottage

JessicaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb near Portree! The views were absolutely stunning; a perfect backdrop to start and end each day. The setting was so peaceful and quiet, it felt like a true escape from the everyday hustle. The space itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. One of the best parts? We were welcomed by the cutest and funniest little lamb. Definitely a highlight of the trip and a memory me and my kids will be talking about for a long time! Our host was so friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a drive from town, but not too far - just something to keep in mind if you’re planning evening dinners or last-minute trips into Portree. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with a little charm and a lot of character! We wish we would have stayed longer.
