Rustic West Cork Barn

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Spent five nights in Teresa’s lovely well equipped barn set in beautiful countryside. She has clearly put a lot of thought into collecting furniture and other items to create a relaxing place to come home to. The kitchen has everything you need - we ate in several times and appreciated the local bread, milk, butter, and marmalade which she provided. Although the weather wasn’t kind to us, we enjoyed the area and meeting the friendly locals. Everyone should eat at ‘The Church Restaurant’ in Skibbereen - great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. (pre book). It was good to meet Teresa and learn a little about the creation of the barn. Thanks Teresa, for a comfortable relaxing stay.

Rural Retreat Eco Hut Anouk's Nook

RóisínRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a really lovely couple of days in west Cork staying in Anouk's Nook. The accommodation was simple, as described in the listing, but very clean and had everything you would need. Our cabin had the most beautiful setting, looking out over a field of wildflowers. It was so peaceful. We brought our dog and he absolutely loved it, making friends immediately with Lizzie's very friendly dogs and enjoying exploring the different paths around the land. Would definitely stay again.
An elegant large building with ivy-covered brick walls is set against a backdrop of a calm lake and distant mountains. Lush greenery and organized garden beds surround the structure, providing a serene outdoor environment. A boat can be seen gliding on the water, adding to the tranquil scene.

Jennifer was an excellent host. Great communication before we arrived. She went over and beyond to provide everything we needed, and fresh fruit and yogurt for our arrival. Beautiful view of the countryside out the back. We really enjoyed our stay.

A cozy living area features a comfortable sectional sofa with a decorative pillow. A wood-burning stove is set in a stone hearth, with neatly stacked firewood on display beside it. Open shelves hold decorative items and books, while natural light enters from a nearby window.

Cottage at Curraghmore Farm, nestled in the Reeks.

What an adventure ! We absolutely loved staying here. It was our first time in Ireland and first time driving on the left side of the road, so it was quite a journey driving into the place but we had no issues locating the house with Google Maps. Definitely would recommend this to very experienced drivers / people used to driving through mountainous landscapes. It is about an hour to get out of the valley in any direction, but we still got to explore lots of western Ireland (our favorite was Dingle!) while also enjoying the luxury of walking through the private trails and countryside of this Airbnb. We absolutely loved it! The house was clean and very comfortable, and Sandra was so helpful to answer all of our questions. She also greeted us with some fresh baked goods and surprised us with some farm fresh eggs during our stay. Would highly recommend this location, and we hope to return! 😊

A rugged stone wall covered with moss and patches of grass leads the viewer's eye toward the remnants of ancient structures in the background. The landscape is characterized by a mix of grassy terrain and scattered ruins under a cloudy sky.

Millie's Cottage

Brilliant place to stay. Could not recommend this place more. Such a nice peaceful part of cork that’s not too far from a big town and the many attractions around west cork. Lisa couldn’t do more to help. We arrive and the fire was lit, milk and all in the fridge for us. We had such a lovely welcome and such a pleasant stay. Any issue, one text and it was sorted no bother. 10/10 definitely would stay again.

A stylish & bright converted carton store loft apt

EwaldRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Very quiet and peaceful place, so you can really get down in the evening to have power to explore the area. Everything is perfect for making your own breakfast, so you can begin the day when you want to - in a lovely place. The bed upside had for us not enough space for two, but there is a sofa bed, so it is no problem. We enjoyed our stay. And we enjoyed the visits of Hanna, a really wonderful, happy and friendly dog!
